I watched your vide and see you had successfully updated MultiView and MultiEdit. I still get the error message "missing on server". Are you a beta tester?

The things that are updated in your video are not the ones giving problems for me. It's utilities like Multiviewer, MultiEdit & Tunenet that report the error "not found on server".

I have the same problem. Multiviewer and others give me "not found on server" errors too. I wish I knew what's going wrong.

Yeah, release notes are always problem with Enhancer, as most of time there is none. Even for us, betatesters, its released most of time with words "component X was updated", but what was updated, where, no one know, so betatesting there not play much role as well, as we don't know too what new happens and what to test exactly.

I saying that to Mattew few times, but nothing come up from it. Probably he just have no time to copy manually comments from repo updates authors do, or maybe most of programmers in aeon don't make release notes, dunno. But at least in case with ogles2 and warp3dnova, authors put release_notes to the documentation section for sure. Dunno how updater handle it, probabaly it install docs to system:documentation or how it called. But in case you didn't find where, you can just download .lha of them, and unpack yourself to see documentation dirs where all change_logs and placed.

In brief, warp3dnova was bugfixed quite well in compare with previous public version, but ogles2 was expanded/bugfixed/speeduped A LOT in compare with previous public version. For example try to play in Prototype over old olges2 and over new, you will notice pretty big fps boost (same for other games using ogles2/warp3dnova, somewhere speed boost is big, somewhere not so).

Good video, thanks.

In Updater you can set the default download directory in the settings window. This will save you having to navigate to it every time using the file requestor.

There is a nice animated Notifications bubble you can also optionally switch on when downloading files.

Probably the HD Audio driver (used on the X1000).

1.5 downloaded and installed with the A-Eon updater.
Thank you for the effort!

LDCK and HDAUDIO ere not installed, normal, because I don't have them on the system.
Only a little odd that: HDAUDIO downloads and unpacks and does nothing, but LDCK gives a missing on server error.

@all
Is anyone using a good/fast and reliable OS4-backuptool which zips or lha's the files ?
I like to make backups before updating by the Updater tool and copying them to a usb stick gives me too long filepaths.

BackUp by OnyxSoft.

No lha, no zip, just a simple, but very good, 1:1 mirror backup.

Using it here ever since i found it.

I'm having a little Radeon confusion. When I attempted to D/L Multiviewer with Updater, I checked all the files that had "updated" in the last column. One of the files that downloaded was Radeon v3.6 which is named "RadeonHD.chip.v3". When I D/L Enhancer 1.5 it has Radeon v2.22. I can't find an installer for Radeon v3.6 on my system so I need some info. Is it supposed to be in Kickstart/ as "RadeonHD.chip.v3" and added to my KickLayout or am I supposed to rename it to "Radeon.chip" and replace Radeon v2.22?

Hi

The RadeonHD v3.6 is a paid upgrade only for users who have purchased the Enhancer Software Graphics Upgrade pack on AMIStore- it is not included in the Enhancer Software 1.5.

Anyone the purchases the Enhancer Software Graphics Upgrade will receive the forthcoming Enhancer Software v2 for free.

Since it downloaded for you (and since it's not part of Enhancer) you seem to have purchased the gfx upgrade at one point in time...if not, there seems to be yet another bug in Updater, keep your voice down, silently leave the room and enjoy what you got

Thanks, I use ztools for now, as a 1 to 1 copy gives errors on long filepaths on USB Stick or usb harddrive.
