Spectre660 has released the RC6 of the Linux kernel 3.13.

Kernel 3.13-rc6 for the Sam440ep( Flex): Sam440ep-3.13.0-rc6.tar.gz
Kernel 3.13-rc6 for the Sam460ex( Lite): Sam460ex-3.13.0-rc6.tar.gz

Note: The Radeon Dynamic Power Management doesn't work. You have to add the argument and the value "radeon.dpm=0" to the bootargs. For example:

-- /boot/menu.lst --

Quote:

kernel /boot/uImage root=/dev/sda10 radeon.dpm=0 console=ttyS0,115200 console=tty0

Spectre660 has released the RC8 of the Linux Kernel 3.13 for the Sams.

Spectre660 has also released some updated Debian Wheezy net installer with Kernel 3.13-rc7 (Version 2) for the Sams.

Hey guys

I missed recent discussions about Linux on forums and Linux on PPC boards also running AmigaOS.

I also use Linux, it is helpful in dual boot and as a developer, I often need to compare systems (settings, performance, power management, ...). I am not specially a Linux fan but it is useful to have in on our platforms!

I have to make a fresh install of Debian on my Sam440.

Xeno and Spectre: Thank you for your work and let's continue!
