Hello all

I would like to take this opportunity to Publicly thank the following people, without whom, the Amiga Area would never have been as successful as it was..

In no particular order

A-EON for being the Star Exhibit
ACUBE for being there as well with their little new wonder
AmigaKit for constantly supporting the Amiga Community
Hyperion Entertainment
- With Special thanks to the Friedens for attending the whole two days and showing off Timberwolf.

Amiga North Thames Regulars without their support, none of it would have happened.

James (Rudei)
Chris Handley - (Chris H)
Mike Woods (Miggyman)
Steven Croucher (Slcroucher)
David Southan

Thanks also to.
Simon Archer (Rigo)
Stuart Elliot (Magic) - (plus his significant other, Suzanne)
Steve Jones (ClusterUK) for his unfailing support
Chris Young (Chris Y) For Netsurf Display
Raoul Panel (Swisso) Digital Universe display

Lincolnshire Amiga Group
Robert, Mark & Gaz without whom the Amiga History area would not have been possible

If I have forgotten anyone else, my apologies.

As you can all see, one man is not responsible for the Amiga area.

Mikey C

No cause is lost if there is but one fool left to fight for it.

I'll echo that - everyone did a fantastic job! It certainly was one of the best post-World of Amiga shows I've been to, if not the best.

Agreed. We had by far the best area at the show and, unlike the other exhibitors showing museum worthy novelties, we had machines we actually still use every day and had new offerings for the future.

Did anyone else notice how many Amigas were on show around the grounds?

Cheers, Mikey.

It was a great weekend and I enjoyed the atmosphere and meeting some 'old' IRC and AW faces... although I wish I'd talked to more people and asked more questions.

Was great meeting you and huge kudos to you and everyone else, for getting all of this together. It was my first ever Amiga show and I'm very glad I attended.

Here's to the next one!

"bye bye!"

Steve

I saw an A500 in the museum (not working actually, need to contact them) and about 4 A1200s and a CD32 dotted around the other areas.

Most of those 1200's seemed to be running awful crappy games, the one in one of the gaming rooms was running some utter tripe shooter while behind it was a ps3 running galaga, all I could think was "Put Deluxe Galaga on the a1200, for the love of god!" :D.

Still bloody good weekend, and both me and my laptop got a good workout :D
