Heh, since it's an image, I don't think it'll depend on your webbrowser, unless the browser has a built-in automatic burry-image-detect-sharpening feature :)

I think it looks just fine.

I have looked at the other banners and I think it should stay the way it is.

The existing banners lend the site a touch of class whereas the new banners look a little gawdy, IMHO.

I just think the word "amigans.net" needs to stand out a little more. People like me with poor eyesight have a hard time reading it.

Made a less blurry version of the banner using the boing ball from this backdrop if anyone wants to use it untill another theme is done.

I like it.You are right it does look clearer, however I think the fuzziness is intentional. I vote for yours though, looks a bit nicer to me.

Neon32's version probably appeals to Aussies because with our bright sunlight out here, we are used to seeing sharp edges. With the poor, diffuse light that is typical of Europe, people over there expect less sharply-defined images.
