About crashes with quickfix3: The iconv module would crash when supplied strings with length 0. Fixed. The cleanlooks style would elicit a warning with length 0 when trying to paint ScrollBars. Fixed.

That seems to have fixed it, thanks.

I still think you've included the wrong libQtOpenGL though (it crashes for me same as the original).

I have not updated libQtOpenGL since the first quickfix, I have just kept it in the archive, to prevent any need to download prior quickfixes. If it crashes, there is some bug, that I have not fixed yet.

EDIT EDIT: Arg, just forgot, I DID update it, and there WAS a bug... Ok, qf5 comming up...

It did not help...I have reinstalled it and it starts now.
Its not the first time. Previously QtWeb crash prevented all qt apps from running, even after reset. I had to reinstall the whole Qt package. And it happend several times. Ok, will see how it goes now. If it happens again I will contact you by email...If you don't mind...

What? Stellarium? Even when I archived my entire build tree it only came to 55MB. Uncompressed, the bits you actually need also come to that.

Anyway, I have six days to fix it up enough for release...

You shouldn't have to reinstall the whole package, after all nothing in the libs or examples or translations or documentation or header files will be changed. For future reference, if you run into trouble, just delete the entire contents of the 'home/' folder in qt:, that should do it.

Is this on purpose that the file "libQtUiTools.la" (and maybe a linker lib .a) is missing from "Qt:lib/"?

No the .a files are has nothing to do whit .so files.
The .a files you put in SDK:lib folder if you have a SDK, if not forget about this files.

I think the reason the .la file is missing in this one instant is because this particular lib was actually meant to be embedded in libQtDesigner.so. But the build process messed up, so I made it a standalone lib instead. There is nothing dangerous about it from a user point of view, the .la files are not really used for anything.
