Maybe you should try Snoopy instead of Snoopdos.

PPaint opens a requester saying 'Attention: Memory Save Mode'

Moving windows: change to simple refresh or 16bit

ppaint: edit your startup-sequence and add 'ADDCHIPRAM=4' for 4mb of emulated chipram

ppaint2: iirc that's always been like that.

Edited my startup-sequence and took care of the 'Memory Save Mode', but now there's a 'Load Audio Module' requester which says 'Audio cannot be activated'.

The DVD drive behaves weirdly under OS4 final. When you open it and it is fully opened it tries to open itself again. And closing it using the close button on the front does not work, nothign happens. I have to forcibly push the sled to close it or os4 decides to close it randomly after some time.

Should be OK then. No idea why it doesn't work for you.

With OS4 final when I use normal make (instead of gmake) to compile using gcc (like f.e. with my svg.datatype) I always get requesters asking for "/usr/local/bin:".

Never had this problem with update #4. If I cancel them it compiles OK. Very annoying though...

It's a bug in GCC trying to parse $PATH which didn't cause problems on Update4 since getenv() wasn't implemented yet (it always returned NULL). To get rid of the requesters I used "setenv save GCC_EXEC_PREFIX GCC:lib/gcc/" (the path is very likely wrong, I didn't check what the correct $GCC_EXEC_PREFIX would be for the AmigaOS4 native gcc, but this path works for me for getting rid of the requesters without causing other problems ).

Problem: Shell crashes
Solution: Iso or CDRW were corrupted. New Iso and CDRW (and new installation) solved the problem.

In RAWBInfo the same RAmiga+D shortcut is used for both "Project->Delete Icon..." and "Icon Image->Default" menu items. I used to use the default image shortcut a lot on update #4 but now it doesn't work anymore.

The RAmiga+L shortcut is used for two different menu items also. Maybe others too. Haven't checked too closely.

1. DVPlayer en MPlayer crashes, and system needs to be reset by button.

Happens: directly after clean installation from cd.

2. UnArc, when destination is ram:, this works when clicking on unarc itself. But clicking on an downloaded archive in the ramdisk, unarc opens, but the destination is empty.

1. The Radeon tooltypes are different on the install CD than on the installed version of OS4. The CD has Interrupt set to NO, on the install Interrupt is set to YES. My system won't boot with it set to YES, took me a while to figure out the problem here.

2. Dragging a drawer icon which is an icon only (ie. no actual drawer) into the Icon Information window does not work.

3. USB Inspector has numbers instead of class names on the first tab

4. The titlebar - wouldn't it make more sense to default it to show Video RAM instead of Chip RAM on systems with no Chip RAM?

5. The SVG datatype descriptor is conflicting with the HTML one again - guess something has changed with Datatypes priority ordering.

AwebPPC 3.5.08 (fresh install) : I am getting several locks up when starting (and when surfing all the time).

Snoopy is telling something about the plugins (gif and png)

EDIT: well it looks like it is a pb having setpatch addchipram=2 and the settings for images caching.

still I am getting a grim reaper on some sites, reporting a error of the awebpngdecoder

Repaired it by adding a c: assign to where the sdl-config?s
reside, although it seems i have more problems, another
project won?t build anymore, doesn?t find some header files,
well i?ll see what i can do by fiddling some more

Is it only me or is the speed with building AWESOMELY increased???
Building ScummVM went from approx 28 mins down to UNDER 10

OK, NOW it?s getting scary...

I don?t have video playback either with DVPlayer (regged or
special OS4 version) or with MPlayer (latest cvs version)

Not even when booting from OS4 CD

I just get sound playback, video stays black, do i miss a
lib somewhere?

Configure your tooltypes in Prefs/DefIcons to fix your problem.

(I also like using the "AUTO" tooltype.)
