but the task remain active, this only after having played a video,

Hi,
I reported this problem to Alfkill at the beginning of 2014 and he fixed it with the latest libQtCore.

If your Qt:lib/libQtCore.so is from 2013, it's an old one, take this one :

http://sourceforge.net/projects/qtami ... bQtCore.so.4.7.0/download

I just retested with the libQtCore that is shipped with the Qt-minimal package and I reproduce this problem.

By switching to the newest one, no more problem !

Say me if it solves your issue, please.

And thank you for reporting, it could be useful for somebody else.

FastHide 1.0 on OS4Depot

A program to Hide/Unhide all the Workbench windows with a single click, key or button

By adding, the FastHide program to AmiDock or by binding it to a key (with FKey or AllKey),
you will be able to quickly hide/unhide all your windows to clean up the
Workbench.

When hidden a window appears that can be used to restore individually one window.
Of course, all windows will be restored if you rerun FastHide

FastHide have some options in the settings window

See the ReadMe for more informations...

SysMon 4.2

* Added an Application tab to
-display all Applications registered
-send messages (predefined and custom messages)
-unregister an Application

I find it rather worrying than an application should be able to unregister another application. This can be fairly dangerous. Imagine that an app continuously accesses a prefs dictionary, an operation that - after unregistering by a third party - will stop working with unpredictable results.

Registered apps rely on staying registered until unregistering themselves from the system. A third-party unregistration is an illegal operation IMHO. If the Application Library supports it, then we have a design problem that should be addressed.

I somewhat agree, but I think the usage context would be more likely as a developement tool, after a application has crashed without unregistering etc. Theses kind of tools enter a very grey area of rule bending, which the casual user may not always understand the consequences of. Rebooting is usually safer.
