Sorry guys,
I have no problem here.

No problem to
-download your YouTube link as 1080p
but I don't know why a m4a file is downloaded automatically with the video file when you choose 1080p).
-download a m4a
-cancel a download (video or song), no GR.

See all these grabs, really no problem !

1 1080p downloading (with his m4a)

Just to say, that I don't have any problem !

Did you download the latest LibQtCore from the Amiga Qt SourceForge repository ?
TommySammy, I know that you still have it...

Just for information, the next version of SMTube will be without the auto-conversion of M4A to MP3.
It will still allow to download M4A file (unreadeble by AAmp and TuneNet without convrsion) but for potential legal issue, Ricardo wanted that I remove the auto conversion by ffmpeg.
Therefore, I will just write the ffmpeg command in the readme.
(but for you, it will not be a problem, as it still fails )

AmigaAmp supports M4A audio files, the open file requester just doesn't see them unless you add "m4a" to the extension filter list in the Prefs.

Yes, but it doesn't support the M4A DASH format used here.

I received your CrashLog, I see "workbench.library V53.52".

Could you try on a non betatest system, please ?

If it still crashs, I will send you the latest SMTube version (that I use) this evening.

Great !

But I doubt that it still had worked before.

I just tested on Windows 8 the public SMTube 2.1 release and I have the same problems than you.

1) the download doesn't start (and is splitted in 2 separate files)

Resized Image

2) the failing download is no cancellable too, it crashs !

Resized Image

See on SMPlayer forum why 1080p movie are splitted in 2 files

http://forum.smplayer.info/viewtopic. ... lit=1080p+download#p11698

"The 1080p videos are in DASH format. In this format the video and audio are in separated streams. That's why smtube downloads two files. However if you open the mp4 file (the video) smplayer will automatically use the m4a file for the audio."

Maybe that MPlayer can merge the 2 files as SMPlayer do ?
Otherwise, try the ffmpeg command that is given lower in this same thread

"ffmpeg -i filename.mp4 -i filename.m4a -vcodec copy -acodec copy -f mp4 video.mp4"

I will release this version when "catalog" files will be ok on the rvm repository (otherwise you have the possibility to build it yourself).

I don't know exactly how to reproduce it but I had a similar issue with the OS4 port, i always though it was a bug in your port because a general issue in Qt-OS4, but if the same issue happened on the Windows version ..

I never had this issue on OS4, I wanted just to show to Thomas that it exists too on Windows (only for 1080p videos download).

But if you look at my previous grabs, you will see that I have no problem to cancel a download (and I never have this kind of problem in the previous version, I cancelled a lot of test downloads).

Samir, still the problem with the last version that I sent you and the latest libQtCore ?
