Is there a way to see this comet with Digital Universe?
Here the wiki link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C/2011_L4 |

I can put up my UOF file on OS4depot.
Alternatively you can create a new data entry in misc.uof using the details shown to the right. ![]() You can see DU output superimposed on a photoI took a few days ago HERE. The comet is quite low and lost in haze and twilight. If it were higher up and could be spotted later ( Ihave to wait an hour longer now the Uk is on British Silly Time ) it would have easily been naked eye visibility. It ia an easy binocular object if you have a clear NW horizon. I have spotted it a few times but last night was cloudy, a pity as it would have been very close to M31. Not looking good for tonight either ![]() |

Hi,
thanks for the reply, for shure I can create the new object, actually I don't know if I have a sufficent clear vision on NW, but Digital Universe can help me to find the true, unfortunately the last month it was almost completely cloudy, just the Easter day was fine and also very clear but I was not at home, so no comet for me ![]() |
