Prism 2 driver OS4 classic.

Hello,

Is it possible to use the current prism OS4 driver in an OS4 classic + mediatorSX setup?
Or is the RTL8029 still the only option when you're not using the Elbox drivers?

Currently I'm using the Elbox drivers but I'd like to go OS4 only since the OS4 voodoo3 driver is much faster.

I don't know for sure, as I don't own a working Classic anymore, but in theory the prism2.device should also work on Classic+mediatorSX.

Like my RTL8029 driver the prism2 driver doesn't need/use any DMA. So from a technical point of view, it should be working fine.

But again, this is only in theory.. if it's actually working like that in practice, I don't know.

I'd just try it ;)

I took a brief look at the sourcecode, but I guess I have to recompile the drivers because of this:

#if defined(__amigaos4__) || defined(__MORPHOS__)
const VOID *real_rx_function;
const VOID *real_tx_function;
const VOID *real_dma_tx_function;
#endif

So it looks like the current OS4 driver uses DMA.

Well.. it might be .. its a long time since I last looked at the prism2 source and back then I thought it isn't using DMA ... but maybe I'm just mixing things up somehow, so apologies if my statements were wrong..
