Glad to see you back!
I watched your video and that is exactly the attitude I have. It keeps things fun.

MediaVault is a fun new applicatoin and I've modified it's script to allow selecting of the video player or choosing to download via a requester.

PM me with your email and I'll send it to you.

One other suggestion that might help you. There is a remote desktop client for the amiga that works pretty well. I only use my X1000 and remote into my Windows 10 laptop if I need a better browser, or if there is something I need to do that I can't do on my X1000. Might be something fun for you to play with and help you use your AmigaOne more.

It's called Rdesktop and you can find on it HERE!

I am glad you changed your mind and we still have you around.

Thank you so much for mentioning MediaVault. I will do my best to fulfill your expectations and bring the video playback from DLNA systems as soon as possible.

You can't imagine how happy you make me listening to your kind words.

I’m happy you finally landed; I agree 100% with your conclusion. This is a computer for different experience, not replacement for something else.

Although I'm going the other direction, from Amiga to Haiku, I'm glad you've come to terms with being an Amigan. My MicroA1 is bordering on unusable with the latest version of AmigaOS 4.1 and it's hard to get excited about a 15 year old Mac Mini running MorphOS, but I find scripting in Hollywood tolerable in MorphOS and Linux.

@Samurai_Crow

Love the idea of Haiku being a past BeOS user. Even owned 2 or 3 BeBox in the day.

I have tried Haiku but on my current i7 based 2014 system, it boots but lack of sound and could not seem to get opensound, or whatever to work, and sound has always been an issue with any computer I tried Haiku on.

If there comes a day that Haiku can easily install, without a special boot menu like grub and just boot up straight on a modern Ryzen based system, I would not mind using Haiku daily.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable in how to get Haiku working on all cylinders has fun with it but for me, I just want it to be as easy to install and boot on a modern computer w/o having to decommission this file and grab another to make sound work and all that jazz.

But yeh, BeOS and Haiku is rather neat.
