AmiDVD doesn't recognize the drive

I was going to try re-burning my system iso on the Amiga using AmiDVD.

It doesn't seem to recognize the drive. But I can read existing data DVD's using this drive.

I added p5020sata.device 1 to the tooltypes. But that didn't make any difference. Mounter shows it as mounted.

Known problem?

Paul

edit: Enhancer 1.5. Looking for information from the icon, it won't read the version number of AmiDVD.

edit 2: output in a DOS window when opening AmiDVD:

SCSI command 46 00 00 00 00 00 00 10 00 00 failed
sense: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0a 00 00 00 00 20 00 00 00 00 00
SCSI command 5a 00 2a 00 00 00 00 00 64 00 failed
sense: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0a 00 00 00 00 20 00 00 00 00 00

AmiDVD does not work on the X5000 or the A1222. It has a list of "legal" platforms and the last "legal" one was the X1000.

Maybe you should purchase one of the Enhancer packages. BTW the same is true for other tools like PartitionWizard.

Yes, I have Enhancer 1.5. That's where this version of AmiDVD came from.

The p5020sata.device is still work in progress, and is currently one of the most under-developed OS4 components. Perhaps your problem stems from that.

If the problem is in the application, I'm afraid A-EON won't be able to help, as their AmiDVD licence is binary only. The Enhancer team have no access to the source code, unfortunately.
