Found the problem. Unfortunately, it is a change from Twitch.tv API, which affects all the similar apps out there, that use this endpoint.

As soon as I find a fix I will release a new version and let you know guys.

There is a new version at https://github.com/walkero-gr/aiostreams/releases/tag/v1.4.2

From this package you can get only the twitch.py script, which is the only one changed, against v1.4.1. Hopefully this fixes the problems with Twitch, but have in mind that Emotion player will not work. You better use ffplay.

I will do a proper updated version on OS4Depot later today, but you can try this one and give me your feedback, if it works for you.

Work with ffplay and even with odyssey on your link with the arexx script
https://aiostreams.amiga-projects.net/twitch
thanks!

separate note:
as you said emotion does not work

Too bad Emotion is no more supported. FFplay is too slow to be useable in 720p.

At https://aiostreams.amiga-projects.net/ you can now discover interesting streams from Mixer.com, as I added dedicated pages for that network. You can see the current featured streams, as long as a top of 51 streams.

There are more pages in the working queue, which you can see at https://github.com/walkero-gr/aiostreams/projects/2

Feel free to give me your feedback and your proposals.

I did a little hardware upgrade to emulate the 4.1FE I got an I7 4770k etc.
Now aiostreams works perfectly with FFPlay with 360p30
the test was carried out on the fly to see the difference.
later I will devote myself better to emulation once the system has been configured.
The Killing ground AB3D II now works very well with E-uae with JIT enabled.
here the video for those interested in aiostreams with twitchtv.

Thanks again for your work.

I just uploaded at os4depot the new version of aiostreams v1.5 with a lot of changes. Now there is support for Wasd.tv website for my Russian frinds out there. And if you like Peertube, there is a new script supporting those video instances.

To mention a few:
* Added Wasd.tv script
* Added PeerTube script
* Fixed skaitv.py script to support the latest changes of the website
* Changed the place of the video qualities lists by separating them from the configuration file to a new file named vqw.py
* Added a full changelog file
* Changed the scripts' descriptions on help request

As always, if you have any request or you would like to report a problem you discovered, go to:
https://github.com/walkero-gr/aiostreams/issues

Thank you for testing aiostreams. Sometimes this happens, because of git. Try to "executable" flag from icon info, or use "python" before the script you want to use, like:
python twitch.py -h

I haven't used aiostreams in a long time
I did a test and configured the video player in youtube.py and it works
then to see if it worked I used this shell command

python youtube.py -vs "winuae"
python youtube.py -u <url> -q 18

and the program works correctly the video can be seen without any problem

so i set this in the odyssey menu:

PlayVideo link
c: rx Work: aiostreams / my_script.rexx% l

but if I try to open a video directly on the youtube page
it tells me "5/1 program not found"

the arexx odyssey script is set up like this:

to the line dedicated to youtube:

SELECT
WHEN website = "Youtube" THEN address command '[PATH OF THE SCRIPT] YT.rexx' url 'ssl html odyssey autoplay silent'

i tried to enter this but it doesn't work:
WHEN website = "Youtube" THEN address command 'Work: aiostreams / youtube.py -ssl -u' url

what is the correct line to insert where am I wrong?

Thanks for any help.

Test this one:

WHEN website "Youtube" THEN address command 'C:Python Work:aiostreams/youtube.py -shh -u ' url ' -q 22'

Don't put extra space in file path, only for options. You can adjust quality option (-q option) by changing the number (22 means 720p).
