5. PCI-network card (dont know brand but it works)
6. 160 mb of fastram

Rogue has recently said that works on the Classic OS4 is ongoing and thats great to hear.

I don't want to ask when it will be released, but a more simple question that can even be ansered with YES or NO.

Will we have to wait until the end of the lawsuit so that Classic OS4 can be released by Hyperion and ACube?

If no, is it legally possible to release it BEFORE the end of the lawsuit?

This would help to estimate the waiting time.

Is it worth to keep my Phase5-card? If I have to wait until lawsuit ends, it will be too long. :-S

I think you have to keep it. If the Classic version comes out soon then you will need it; if it comes out later then you won't get a good price now, anyway.

Thanks for your answer. I am asking because I have not used my P5-card a lot in the last months and it is collecting dust. You can get a lot of money for it on ebay and I could need the money to buy the Volvo I have always wanted to drive (old Volvo 240 GL).
We are always waiting for something to happen soon, but are we really sure it will happen at all?

I still have not received an answer yet, if it is even possible to release it during the lawsuit. Maybe it isn't and that could mean that it will never be released when Amiga, Inc wins the lawsuit!

I have many dream cars, the 240 GL is just one of it and maybe the only one that is still affordable! My father had one and I grew up with it. It is simply unbreakable!
I don't like new cars and would never buy one even if I had the money. They have so many electronics and sensors in it, so easily something breaks! In the Volvo, everything is still mechanical and extremely robust. Swedish quality!
But I like the older Volvos even more, have a look at the P1800 ES for example. That's a REAL sports car and it has much more style than the boring one in your avatar!

They are both quite comparable and have a similiar styling. I especially like the rear side of the Volvo P1800 ES:

Ok, back to topic, which is OS4 on Classic.

Nobody could answer my question if a release is possible DURING the lawsuit.

So maybe it will be released in 2007, maybe in 2008, maybe in 2009, maybe never.

If this is really the state of affairs, then I am not sure if it's worth discussing it anymore because it is much too uncertain. It's like discussing new Eyetech hardware end of 2005. The peoples also said it's just around the corner and that Eyetech are only waiting for the PPC CPUs which only have supply problems. Now we know better.

As a betatester, i can't say too much. I think I can say that work on the Classic version hasn't slowed down at all and it is progressing well.
