DropDown Menue - multiple command behaviour

Hi devs,

If i choose a dir with visible and hidden files i can use the drop menue to "mark" commands to be executed in a row with the left mouse button (i think three is the maximum -not sure if this has been updated?-, all following will be skipped) like
1) View by Name
2) Show all Files
3) Select contents

Now i have a problem with the "work-flow" of OS4 executing the commands

Normally (at least thats how i from a user POV sees it) it should go through the commands in the way they were marked, FIFO-like, but they don't

In this example the first thing that happens is that the visible files get marked (#3) then the hidden files show up (#2) and only as the last point the files are drawn as names (#1) which lets me end up with a name list of all files in the dir but only those with icons marked (which is wrong imho)

I thought it might be a "top to bottom" list thing/behaviour, because the three commands in the drop down menue are placed from top to bottom 3-2-1 so maybe they are simply read and executed that way by the OS (of course i'm shooting in the blue here)

Another guess would be that some commands have a higher Priority than others (again, pure speculation)

Please someone with a little insight shed some light for me

If it isn't a bug then please someone could tell me if this has already been addressed?
I really would like to have the commands executed in the chronology the user chose them...if possible

Thanks a lot

They should do - the commands should enter the message list in the order they are executed, and the message queue should be FIFO. I guess the message queue is FIFO, otherwise all sorts of odd problems would occur, so it looks like the Intuition menu code isn't queuing messages in the correct order.

Yes it does, i'm sorry

I should have added that i'm using "ContextMenus" (53.1 30.11.2009) from the Commodities drawer.
The PullDown Menues from the Title Bar work the way they're supposed to

You don't happen to know if this has already been filed and/or are in the position to do so?
