YAM has a filter bug

I use this version of YAM:
Version: 2.6 [OS4/PPC] / 2010-02-21 (GCC 4.2.4)

When I was trying to add a new filter I noticed a bug. Any adding or removing of a filter (New/Delete) is completely ignored by the Save and Use buttons. No filter will record any changes unless the *order* of the filters are changed.

Deleting a filter is impossible since its order cannot be altered (since it was deleted). After pressing Use or Save and then open prefs again the filter is still there.

Hi Daniel

Maybe it was already fixed, a lot of things are changed since latest 2.6, but you can always fill a bug report here:

I've noticed this too, but didn't know the workaround.

I figured it was such an obvious bug it would be already known, but haven't actually checked.

@All

Before submitting any new bugs take a look if problem gone using nightly builds (make a proper backup to avoid any problems)

The scheduled release date for YAM 2.6p1 is September 24th. The bug you mentioned, among lots of others, is definitely fixed there. Currently that updated version has been sent out to the beta testers for all supported systems to catch possible remaining bugs.

Thanks. Good to know.

@samo79

I hoped I could get by without traversing this long bug list, and I did :)
