This thread seems to have turned into a "wish list", which was NOT my intention... not that it matters

For my wish, I'd like to find out what the MAP actually is! I don't think the X1000 on it's own can be it, especially as this is being done by A-Eon not Hyperion.

ROTFL. If there would be an AmigaOS 4.1 release for classic Amigas you could even view a few simple pages with TimberWolf on an A1200 with 256 MB RAM, if you don't mind that loading and starting TimberWolf from the very slow PIO-only HD would take around 15-30 minutes, maybe even much longer because of the slow CPU and RAM, but definitely not on an A4000 with only 128 MB RAM.

@joerg

you are wrong.

perhaps you have not being following what i do.

i have a FAST ATA MKIII

Blizzard PPC 060@73Mhz 603e@334Mhz

NOTE: its the first Blizzard and the only Blizzard card in the world to have 83Mhz bus. its the same speed as a Cyberstorm 200Mhz.

PCI BUS SPEED 36.5Mhz

NEW: Bvision overclocking

Bvision overclocks at 100Mhz this some of you know.

but what none of you know until today, is that the Bvision speed is about to change,it will set another all new world record.

LINK: http://www.amiga.org/gallery/index.php?n=3219

NOTE: one of the Bvision has gone faulty as i used it for testing which i should not have done, but belive it or not, this is good news as iv pick up some information what is needed.

the card will be back and working very soon with new top end speed.

Even if getting about 10-20% of the speed of the slowest SAM440 with such an overclocked A1200 system is good enough for you and you don't care that would be unusable slow you still couldn't run software like TimberWolf on it, unless you somehow manage to change it's RAM limit from 256 MB to at least 512 MB as well.

Yes

I'm not too worried what comes our way via OS4 software or hardware etc because it'll come anyway...

I am looking forward to a more controlled line of OS4 Forums popping up that will not tolerate freedom of speech over Amiga Spirit... amen

And the existing ones that do not deserve to carry the Amiga name will fade from our sight or at least our webpage lists...

I'm not sure where you are going with this, but it might be best to leave it right there.

OS4 side:
USB2
Full dualcore support (then I can justify buying an X1000).
Full memory protection
Improved/new workbench
Any other improvements:)

Software:
-Timberwolf (please with a HTML5 supported videoformat that is more usable than Firefox's)
- OO4Kids fully native, though it seems far far away.
- whatever comes along

Just to answer the question (which not many have done so far):

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on an AXM and seeing what the XMOS chip can do with a floppy drive and some low level firmware.

cheers
