Hello Amiga Community,

This weekend will see the return of the Vintage Computer Festival to the Computer History Museum in Mountian View, California. This is the site of the world-renowned Amiga 30th event in 2015 (shameless plug for an event I was the lead organizer for.)

The Amiga and C= presence at VCF has been on and off over the years. 2023 will be a banner year for Amiga representation.

First, the speaker list has 4 presenters with Amiga History! Speakers include Jeri Ellsworth, Joe Decuir, Bob Welland, and Leonard Tramiel. Joe is reporting to be showing off hardware, including an A500.

The exhibit hall with also see amazing representation. In amongst a massive number of vintage computers, you'll find some real Amiga and C= gems:

The C64i: Commodore 64 Improved, stop by and ask for a tour of this amazing board.

Rabbit Hole Computing: showing their Amiga compatible SCSI2SD and ZULUSCSI products.

Unijoysticle: Bluetooth adapter for D9-based retro machines so you can access modern mice and joysticks on those platforms. The latest versions are designed to be directly attached to the A500, A600, and A1200. Stop by and say hello to Ricardo.

AmiWest presents Amigas!: A collection of Amiga systems from AmiWest organizers Jerry and Chris. This table will feature classic Amigas and a Sam460.

Commodore tape drives, "Life before the floppy drive": A collection of computer cassette drives and Commodore 8-bit computers.

Amiga Expansion Bus from Ranger to A2000: This exhibit will show the evolution of the Zorro cards from Amiga Los Gatos to the C= Germany-designed A2000. There will be a working prototype Ranger/Zorro 1 A1000 expansion bus and a working Pal expansion box from Byte By Byte for the A1000 that takes Ranger/Zorro 1 card. Also, this exhibit will feature the rarely seen "Ranger" thermal prototype and Ranger industrial design mockups from Dale Luck's personal collection. Also, never before seen pictures from the Los Gatos Commodore Amiga industrial design engineer for the Ranger and an Apple 2GS competitor.

Everything but the C64 - A collection of C= 8bit, except the 64!

As you can see, a massive presentation of C= and Amiga systems by both speakers and exhibitors. It should be an excellent event!
