HyperBench released for AmigaOS version 4 (or better). HyperBench was formerly known as YetAnotherDesk.

HyperBench is a sort of Workbench clone. It's possible to run it on any public screen and it's possible to run as many copies of it as there's enough free RAM. You can call this as "virtual desktops" or "spaces" of Amiga. HyperBench is one executable and it does not replace any system files.
Check the latest changes and a feature list from www.os4depot.net website.

Note: Don't try to replace Workbench with HyperBench. (They're meant to run side by side.)

The original name YetAnotherDesk was quite boring so I've been thinking to change it quite some while. Bench comes from workbench obviously and Hyper is honour to Hyperion-Entertainment.

This is still beta release.

I'm sorry the documentation in the archive is very minimal.

How to start:

After unpacking the archive move HyperBench executable and icon to, for example, sys:System and HyperPrefs to sys:Prefs. There's also language catalogs for both Finnish and French. Start Screen prefs editor and add some public screens into the system if you haven't done so already. Then select the icon of HyperPrefs and select Information from the Icons menu on the Workbench. Change the path in HB_DIR tooltype to where you did put the HyperBench executable and its icon if it's not sys:System. Save changes to that icon if needed. Then start HyperPrefs editor and press Add button. Put the name of your public screen, where you want to run HyperBench, into the box and press Add. Then select the entry, you just created, from the list and press Edit button. Edit any settings as you wish and press Save. Now you should have a new project icon in the directory where you did put the HyperBench executable and the HB_DIR tooltype, in the HyperPrefs icon tooltypes, points to. (That project icon should have HyperBench as its default tool and PUBSCREEN= as one of its tooltypes.) Now double click that icon to open HyperBench on your selected public screen.
