Beats of Rage is a freeware open source video game and moddable game engine made by Senile Team and inspired by Sega's classic Streets of Rage series. The term "moddable" means that the program allows users to create their own content, and thus their own beat-'em-up game, which is then called a "mod".

OpenBOR is the open source continuations of Beats of Rage and provides additional functionality not available in the original Beats of Rage game. It allows modders to add more moves and combos, amongst other things. OpenBOR is maintained by the lovely people at LavaLit.

The game has been tested with AmigaOS 4.1 and 4.1u2, Sam440 667/800 Mhz and AmigaOne G3/G4.

Huno has once again worked on optimizations and the joypad is even supported. The game can be played with effects (scale2X, bilinear, hq2X ...) and supports new and old PAK (easily found over the Internet).

OpenBor can be downloaded on OS4Depot
The 1st PAK can be downloaded at Senile Team's site

Enjoy !
