EasyRPG Player
Quite a regular
Quite a regular

See User information
EasyRPG Player is a program that allows to play games created with RPG Maker 2000 and 2003.

You can get the OS4 version from my website (or here's a direct link).

If you don't have MIDI setup for SDL_mixer you can get the some MIDI patches from here, and dump them next to the executable.
Info on the compatibility, project status, etc. on the official site on the project: https://easyrpg.org/player/

I only tested it in WinUAE / OS4FE classic, so your mileage my vary.

Nice work there. Is there a list of ready made games that are supported and we can test?

They have a fairly old list on their site, but you can try any RPG Maker 2000/2003 game, and give them feedback if something doesn't work.

A new stable version of the EasyRPG Player was released recently, so I built new executables. To see what's new, check out the official blog of the project:

He means that nearly all the games for EasyRPG (taken from the links posted in this thread) comes as Windows .exe installation packages.
Those are obiously not usable on AmigaOS unless decrunched.

Cabextract has been useful to me with some, others have to be installed on a PC.

I see. That's a common issue with games, since the authors are free to use any proprietary software to create installers for them.

Now don't works for me.
don't found RTP files, I have RTP 2000 and RTP 2003 files.

Where I put ?
I don't see any config file to expecific the path.

thanks

P.S. Well, I think some update corrupt my system, some games like flare, beret, rpgandroid, easy rpg, etc, freeze the miggy about 2 or 3 seconds of start the game. :(

How I can monitorize the start of the programs ?

When freeze happens, is there anything on the serial line?

Have you tried to increase your stack?

I updated the AmigaOS4 version of EasyRPG player to the recently released 0.6.0. It brings a lot of battle system improvements and bugfixes. You can read about it here:

As usual you can grab it from the links in the first post.
