It's definitely an improvement! :P I was held back a bit, but I'm going to resume the work on TinyMeter soon. I just need to test whether the launcher bar works. I had to modify it to use OpenWorkbenchObject instead of wbstart.library.
I also want to fix the skin issues in OpenJK. A couple of models have holes in them, it looks nasty.

I've run into some difficulties with TinyMeter. For some reason the volume gauge causes system instability. After running the program a few times it starts to crash DOS processes (dos appdir server). This might take a bit longer than I expected...

On the OpenJK front, I merged the latest changes, and compiled the Jedi Outcast executables. I haven't tested them much, but they should be OK. I couldn't find any site which hosts the data files (assets2.pk3 and assets5.pk3) extracted from the 1.04 patch, so you have to install the game on Windows for the time being, or get the patched game by other means

Is there something about OpenJK that is G4-specific? I have 2 G3 Amiga's (A1XE and Micro-A1c) and both freeze on the opening title screen. Not just the game but the entire computer. A reboot is the only way to fix it.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the hard work!

No clue, I haven't used any architecture specific compiler flags. Are there is any compiler flags required to make the code G3 compatible?

OK :) How about this http://www.franticware.com/multiracer

It seems that there is a lots of car games, wich would mostlike run even in sam hardware, but authors, homepages and sources are lost forever.

I wrote to author of multiracer and he was a interested, but he wants to keep code closed. It is a C++, uses opengl and he has made a Linux version of game already. Game works just fine, is very playable and would be fun with group of people.

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but I can't possibly port the game if it's closed source.

He doesn't want to make code public, wich in this case means you couldn't share code to others.

I see, so he would share the code with me, he just doesn't want to open source it.

Any news on TinyMeter? If the volume guage isn't used is the rest of it stabe?

Sorry to bug you but I've been trying to get it ported since OS3.5 was released and it stopped working. Now it's 95% done I'm getting a little impatient

You know the ninety-ninety rule: after you finish the first 90% of a project, you have to finish the other 90%. Unfortunately I'm busy with finals, so I probably won't be able to look into the issue until the end of the month.

Only with the finals, but you've kind of answered your own question :) In a couple of days I'll be back in action to tackle the another 90%.
