update:Feb25-16

from Lyle Haze: The Yamaha P45B Digital Piano is fully compatible. :)Now that camd.library and camdmidi is distributed with the OS, there is NOTHING you need to prepare. Just plug this fine digital piano into your USB port and it appears as "Digital Piano.in.0" and "Digital Piano.out.0"I am told the slightly higher end P115 is also fully compliant.

update:Aug-12
Using abalabans's Wacom driver (from OS4Depot most, if not all, USB Wacom pen tablets should now work under AmigaOS 4.1. I confirm that my Wacom Bamboo Connect works great with SketchBlock with this driver (minus the eraser portion on the end of the pen)

Everything which was working on the AmigaOne previously is now working on the SAM since the update. However my card reader has a tendency of stalling when trying to open files from memory card, which never happened on the AmigaOne (I haven't tried it on the AmigaOne since the update so not sure whether this is a SAM or an update issue)

I still have one USB flash drive which doesn't work - it shows up in USB Inspector as "Mass Storage Interface" (with no driver specified) rather than "Mass Storage Device".

I'm having problems with usbprinter.device. If my printer is turned off when I start a program that accesses printer.device to get the printer configuration, I get AmigaDOS requsters & little USB messages on a small white background complaining that there is a failed device access (USB can't find printer). This is really bad when starting PageStream. I get a half dozen requesters on WorkBench and a half dozen USB messages on the PageStream screen. The screens flip back and forth as I cancel the requesters.
Have you experienced this problem with your printer & programs like PageStream or FinalWriter? It didn't happen before I installed the update.

Not happy to see if they just got recognized (and reading about your problems) I moved several files from and toward them, deleted them etc.

All worked fine no filename's corruption.

By the way, the memCard reader works best on AmigaOS IMHO, on Windows it starts scanning all the available slots and mounts each one of them as an aditional systems drive (even if they are empty) I once brought it to friend that had a very slow Dell Laptop (an old PIII) and it took forever befor the card was accessible. On Aos the memory card was immediately accessible after a split second!

Comparing crosDOSfilesystem 4.1 and 4.1.1, the 4.1.1 version 53.3 (20.3.09) 103832ko is newer than the 4.1 version.

Hope problems swith FAT95 have been resolved with 4.1.1.

Recognized and worked fine device on SAM440EP+4.1.1:

Console game:
- PSP FAT V1000.

Multimedia players:
- Cowon I7 firmware V1.18
- Cowon A2 firmware V1.73E
- Cowon X5 firmware V2.10E

External card reader:
- Hama cards reader 19 in 1 (crystal blue case).
- Noname 6in1 card reader (made in taiwan - grey case).

Not working:

HD 80go 2,5" LACIE.

on the log: recognized and initialized but no:
masstorage Lun0 has device type 0x00 (......).

I think my 2 others HD will not work also (not tested).

OK, I haven't tested any of these devices extensively with AmigaOS4.1 Update 1, but they do all get recognized and I am able to access files on them. None of them worked at all before Update 1:

Canon EOS Rebel XS camera (DSLR)
Jazz HDV189 video camera
Dynex All-in-1 External Card Reader
Sylvania SMP2012 2GB MP3 player

A "Picture Transfer Protocol" window opens with thumbnails of all the pics on the Canon when it is plugged in, which I find really cool.

I have used the Dynex card reader to access files on a 4GB SDHC card, as well as on 512MB and 16MB CompactFlash cards. There is a problem when I format CompactFlash cards, though: A formatted card pops up a "Disk_Warning!" window every time it is inserted, that says "Volume exceeds end of disk! Data loss may occur when writing!". The CompactFlash disks were formatted using FAT filesystem and maybe another filesystem would work OK.

I have some other USB devices that I haven't plugged in yet.
