Hope someone gets assigned to this. Seems like a nice project, and the old icon editor is a bit outdatet.

Just a question: did that project mean png support as well ? Because as i know, os4.1.1 does not have png icon support by default via datatypes, but by some 3dparty png.iconmodule. Just in interest about that png mess :)

The icons has never been loaded by datatypes but by icon.library... the newer version of icon.library adds support for plugins wich enables it to display other formats than the standard amigaos format (only png module exists AFAIK)... so it's like it's allways been just that the library has been updated with new features.

Will post it as news later today unless someone is faster. Had work from 7.00 until 18 everyday this week and no energy to do ANYTHING constructive when I got home:)

Perhaps it would be better just to have a paint-box BOOPSI class so that the pointer editor and backdrop editor for Workbench could all use the same editor.

What would make the most sense would be for someone willing to upgrade sketchboard.gadget...

The rest of the changes would be trivial IMO.

It would be intended to be included on the os4 cd should Hyperion accept it, so boopsi/reaction is the only option.

Hmm, well. I was thinking about this bounty, but BOOPSI/ReAction will mean too much work for me. Let's hope some day MUI will be official GUI toolkit for AmigaOS 4.
