Is there problems with Emotion and subtitle support or maybe I am doing something wrong. Here I am using Emotion 1.9 and tried to play movie with .srt file but no titles on screen. I put in the same dir movie and .srt file (with same name) but it does not work. With DvPlayer and Mplayer everything is working fine.

Also, I put Tooltype in Emotion SubtitleFont = Arial

If someone knows where is problem, please help :)

Thank you

I don't own Emotion. but
SubtitleFont Arial

"Arial" doesn't even work in Workbench mode here...

Did you try another font?
SubtitleFont BitStream Vera Sans

SubtitleFont DejaVu Sans

Do the other two programs work with Arial, or do they pick their own font?

SubtitleFont
Set preferred subtitle font

Example:
SubtitleFont = Comic Sans MS.font

You should have a README file

I didn't try subtitles before your post but got curious and tested it. In the drawer I have two files:

movie.mp4
movie.srt

Added SubtitleFont and FontSizeBase in tooltypes and it is not working. Tried DejaVu Sans.font and Vera.ttf with no luck.

I did not see mention in the readme file what kind of subtitles is supported, but would expect to support srt.
