As reported elsewhere, Oliver Wagner has passed away at the young age of 45.

Oliver, brought the Voyager web browser and Amiga IRC (AMIRC) to the Amiga platform in the early amiga days of the internet.

We at Amigans.net would like to pass our sincerest condolances to his family at this time.

Very sad indeed. RIP.

BTW, Olli made much more than Voyager and AmIRC; I fondly remember e.g. AmTelnet and NetInfo from back then.

Try searching in Aminet's advanced search with "Oliver Wagner" (including the quotes) in the Readme column. Not all matches are by him (he is also referred to in some other people's readmes), but many are.

Best regards,

Niels

@nbache

Yep, I've been using Microdot-II for years and had some interesting discussions with him on the old mailing list.

Microdot-II doesn't appear to be on Aminet. If I can locate the full install archive I'll upload it (I have a key, but IIRC there are no restrictions without one)

Edit: http://web.archive.org/web/2002080223 ... .us.vapor.com/microdot-2/
There should be 1.4.17 somewhere though...
