Backdrop disapears

Recently my backdrop started disapearing after reboot. If I select a new backdrop or apply a Theme, the backdrop shows as it should. But after reboot it's gone, and the desktop is black - but everythin else is on the desktop.

Anybody else experienced the same?

Are you maybe running out of gfx mem?

Have you recently installed something that might interfere?

After a bit of testing the conclusion is, that it's only some of the "builtin" backdrops that has a problem. They work when they are applied, but after reboot they corrupt. But I've found a backdrop that works now - problem solved so far.

What do you mean by "builtin backdrops" ?

Patterns rather than images?

@bitman
Are the problematic backdrops a particular filetype? e.g. JPG or IFF.
