Can anybody recommend an OS4-native utility that allows adding items to Workbench's Tools menu?

addmenu http://os4depot.net/index.php?functio ... =utility/misc/addmenu.lha

I am not using it but as an alternative, you could edit the contextmenu script and add the tools you need there and launch it from the WB, and not only from the WB menu

Yep, I use AddMenu.rexx and CubicIDE - which are both (Cubic/ARexx) are not really *native* I suppose...
BTW I modified that script to incorporate the famous "DEL Key in Workbench" item...

Hello,

The old tooldeamons 2.2 68k work fine untill AOS4.1 but not at 100% with AOS4.1U1. Some tools launched (a verry low numbers) crash when exiting, when launching from tooldeamaons and work fine, when launching from their icons (example simpleplay).

Only one program make a DSI only when launching from tooldeamons: snoopy.

With tooldeamons 2.2 68k AND AOS4.1U1:

- Only one program crash at startup: snoopy.

- Some program crash when exiting (verry verry low number).

I have a small ARexx-script that adds my menus:
/**/
PARSE arg Command
ADDRESS Workbench
OPTIONS RESULTS

 MENU ADD NAME svnadd TITLE
'"Subversion \Add"' CMD 'svn.rexx add'

MENU ADD NAME svnupd TITLE '"Subversion \Update"' CMD 'svn.rexx update'

MENU ADD NAME svncom TITLE '"Subversion \Commit"' CMD 'svn.rexx commit'

MENU ADD NAME svndel TITLE '"Subversion \Delete"' CMD 'svn.rexx delete'

This adds four commands to a submenu "Subversion".
I then run this at the end of my startup-sequence.

Got the ARexx commands from the OS3.9 HTML manual.

Yep, same here, except I have mine in WBStartup with a Tool icon set to start from ARexx.

Best regards,

Niels

@nbache

could you check bug 6349 in OS4 BZ and maybe post your WBstartup prefs file there?

Thanks
