SabreMSN 0.64 DSI's on SAM and 4.1.1?
Just popping in

Each time I try to start SabreMSN 0.64 on 4.1.1 on my SAM it DSI's right after logging me in and displaying my contacts. Is anyone else having this problem?

If I kill the program my system hangs shortly after and if I Ignore the DSI it brings up another Grim Reaper.

I have up loaded the crash logs on OS4 Depot

Yes, it also happens here. Pegasos II G4 with OS4.1 Update 1. Thanks for submitting that crashlog, hopefully this will get fixed soon.

Cheers,

I think the stack was set incorrectly in the SabreMSN icon in the last release. I dont know how long its been broken for. Please change it from 32k to around 350-450k by clicking on the icon and selecting Icon Information from the Workbench pull down menus. I've fixed it for the next release anyway.

EDIT: Please let me know if that solves the issue or not..

EDIT2: I've attempted to update the latest archive with a newer icon with the correct stack setting...

I shall give that a go this evening - I'm away from my SAM at the moment so cannot test right away.

Hi @jahc

It is not the right forum but I don't think it worths it.

Well, with the two last versions (064 and 0.65), I have a problem.
I can connect but all my contacts are always offline.
I open the ports in my router (in case) but nothing changed.

Do you have some hints ?

Thanks

Please run sabremsn with the debug switch from shell and save the output for me. I'll have a look at it.

I think it's:
run sabremsn debug >ram:output.txt

Yes, this is a cut'n'paste from my post on amigaworld:
Just to show my point of view for no members of amigans only....

Maybe keep the same main first window, as V0.67, but on this main first window (with all the contacts), just make multi-tab page (same with Ibrowse with more than one site). I don't know the english name exactly of this MUI function...

example:

- window border
- tab contact on the left/tab avatar on the right
- actual toobar buttons
- actual list or contacts
- online colors and status
- window border

On the second tab, all could be fitted for the own avatar, settings for the own message,....and maybe much more in the futur).

NOTE: the same could be possible on the settings (some tabs by kind of settings).

It's just my 2 cents
