OS4.1 formatting/filesystem question

I've installed OS4.1 on a new hard drive (I'm still trying to get my files off the old drive, but that's a different story)

I set all the partitions to SFS/00, buffers to 1000 and the blocksize to 512. All the partitions except one will format fine. One partition when I try to format it says "disk full". If I change that partition to StandardFileSystem it will format fine.

The only difference between that partition and the others is the size. It's about 139 GB and the others are about 68 GB.

Not a big deal, I was just wondering why.

From the SFS Changelog:

partition size limit of SFS 1.x is 128 GB, no matter which blocksize
you are using. Changed the checks to the actual limits. You can
continue to use too large partitions, but you may get "disk full"
errors (instead of a trashed partition) even if there is still free
space on the partition.

Use SFS/02 to work around the limits or the new JXFS.
