Plug the HDD into a PC and use UAE to partition it and copy over all the os4 install files to an installpartition then you can boot from that. :)

NVIDIA is always preferred when it comes to Ubuntu/Linux

Could the Memory Limit: 512MB option in uboot be causing problems?

Check if partitiontype is FAT in the partitiontable.. if its not linux can mount it anyway.. AmigaOS might see it.. Windows will not.

gparted is a good app to manage the partitiontable.. it should be type B Win95 FAT

I cant get my SIDs to work with VICE using my CW MK4, however the latest floppy driver (alpa/beta) works.. although rather slow, takes about 40 minutes to copy 800kb from disk to floppy, its faster when using the cwfloppy application to transfer an adf image to it tho..

Here with WordWorth 7.01 i just choose ignore on the error and the application starts just fine.

I play Commander Keen 4 here sometimes, works just fine.
Make sure the cpu cycles are set correctly, not to high and not too low.
DOS games with sound often have to be configured first, make sure the settings in the game matches the ones in dosbox.conf, and about the mouse i have no idea.
Though there is this in the conf file:

# autolock -- Mouse will automatically lock, if you click on the screen.
# sensitivity -- Mouse sensitivity.

autolock=false
sensitivity=100

OS4 seems to lack the USB audio standard which would make most usb audio cards work.

Most Live/Audigy use the "same" chipset, but NX is USB and uses a totally different chip.

When buying a Soundblaster check if it has emu10k written on it and it should work fine in AOS.

Wish there was a quakeworld client like fuhquake or ezquake ported for OS4 :D

Im using a 2.5" SATA drive in my SAM, and the default Powersaving features enabled does not seem optimal, the disk goes to "halfsleep" too often...
idetool tells me:
Advance power mgmt : enabled
Current level : 128

Is there a way to disable that or put it at level 254?
I assume that 255 disables it completely as hdparm does in Linux.
