Re: ADH0 in any drive

@daveyw

Yes to your first question daveyw.
I renamed my thumb drive to ADH0 to see if it cleared the problem, which it did not.
I will try SnoopDOS and see what happens.

Re: ADH0 in any drive

@Chris
That is correct, it asks for it when I try to install anything really and I don't know how to stop it.
I had a spare partition and I renamed it to ADH0 but that didn't help any.
Then it goes on to say that something is missing and/or assign something.
Not a clue 😞

@Maijestro

Wow !! That is a really nice setup you have there.

Being a noob, i really do not know what to set my HDD to.

There are strange things going on when i boot from HDD. The mouse sticks to the top left hand side and i cannot move the mouse anywhere except up or down but it takes the Workbench screen with it.
See Dropbox link -> https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/nd5y3ml ... bumpwq54&st=y81h4rvy&dl=0

I will try reformatting the HDD in SFS/00 and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply.

Can someone explain to me why, when partitioning a new HDD in SFS/02, not making it bootable and booting from USB, the system hangs and nothing else happens?

@daveyw
Many thanks for the reply.
I traced the problem to the router blocking the MAC address.
All sorted now, thank you.

Yes, I watched the video but the connections just will not work.
Maybe the OS has not installed properly.
I shall give it another go on Monday and reinstall the OS. Then try again.

Setting up internal modem

Hello all.
The OS has now been installed (with much less hair).
The only problem i have now is getting the modem to work.
As far as i can see, there are two modem RJ45 connectors. One on the motherboard and one as an added card.
The two questions are, which one do i use and how to set it up to go online.
Here are the results:
