@Futaura Switching off persistent connection in iBrowse network settings worked! Thank you!

I have managed to have my sound card functioning back again by copying Workbench folder from WorkSD partition on the amigaOS sd card to the boot partition on the hard disk. Something is missing on official installation CD and installation image on SD card because I could not make sound card work after regular installation and updates.

Another strange issue that surfaced recently is that my Sound Blaster PCie card stopped producing sound and AHI is not listing anymore working options. I thought SB went bad and ordered another one but it shows the same issues. Is my board gone bad? Emailed ACube but I have little hope in their support.

It happens with both versions 2.5.9 and 3.0a of iBrowse. I have not noticed this issue with the latest Netsurf.

Thank you for your suggestions, nothing worked, morphos on the same board works flawlessly though. Easy way to knock out network on AmigaOS in my setup is to launch iBrowse and download any file from Aminet. On the first, second or third download network hangs requiring hard reset to fix.

I am experiencing sudden network drops out of blue when using iBrowse downloads. the only way to restore is hard reboot. Reinstalled OS and updated several times but the problem persists. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the info. Will keep an eye on those power off episodes. As for the screen blanker prefs, thanks a lot. I have not noticed there were other tabs in the window.

I am a new user of x5000 and when running idle for some time screen turns off which can be brought back moving mouse/trackball or using keyboard. Unfortunately I could not find a way to customize the time needed to turn screen off. More annoying is the "feature" of turning computer off completely if it stays idle more time. It is inconvenient and undesirable if some background task is being executed.
How I could turn off or modify this feature?

Hopefully someone can help me on this forum. I have just bought X5000 MBoard and while installation of MorphOS was flawless, I am having problems even to start installation of AOS4.1GE. Just shortly before initial screen of partition and installation options usb stack stops recognizing my keyboard and mouse. If I unplug and plug I see attachment failed message. Tried multiple combinations of common MS/Logitech mice/trackballs and keyboards with the same results. My dealer suggested to try PCI usb card and while I am waiting for it to arrive I wonder if anyone here has any helpful suggestions.
