@TiredOfLife
Yes, you have to put again RadeonRX.chip in your Kicklayout file. I had the same issue with my X5000 after Update 3.

Update 3 installed on X5000, so far everything has been fine, except after the first reboot, when the system froze right at the workbench screen. After a hard reset, everything was fine, and now I'm testing the system's stability.
The only thing I'm still missing is the Radeon RX570 installation. For that, I'll have to search for old threads, to try to figure out how to fix it. I seem to recall that an older radeon driver needs to be deleted to allow the southern RXs to initialize properly

I got the X5000 back on track by restoring a 3-year-old backup, but the RX570 doesn't work anymore. I'm probably missing something with the drivers; perhaps another driver that had priority should have been deleted? I don't remember...
Anyway, I'm using a 4670 now, and after restoring everything tomorrow, I'll try to do update 3 (I'll make a more recent backup first) with this graphics card. Let's see how it goes this time.

I had the worst experience with the Update 3: downloaded with Amiupdate for my X5000, installed and everything seemed to be alright, but after installation machine did not reboot automatically. I performed hard reset, but after splash screen of X5000, when turning to AmigaOS 4.1 splash screen, I have grey screen and anything else happens, also after many other reboot. I'm stucked and I fear I have to reinstall all the OS from the beginning

I will try to install AmigaOS from zero in order to verify if something changes: it seems I have a lot of errors in my System partition, using NGFCheck and repairing it errors persists to be there.
What is the best filesystem to use with X5000 and OS4.1 FE?
I use a classic mechanical 3.5 sata HD

Here I am again, I recently found an RX 570 to test in my X5000, but I still have the same problems that I have already described above. The model is an RX 570 Pulse with 4GB of ram, the PN is 299-5E353-D30SA, while the SKU # is 11266-04-20G.
In my opinion the card, but also the previous RX 560, works correctly, but there is something in the system that creates conflict and prevents the Sound Blaster from working; for this I wanted to ask you to make a comparison between my X5000 and yours; especially I was thinking about the operating system, do you have the update 2 of OS4.1 FE installed?
You also have the Cyrus firmware version (the one on microSD) from the factory or the latest updated one?
I noticed that when OS4.1 starts up the CPU is 100% busy intermittently, I thought it depended on the power option to assign as High to the Polaris 10 (as my RX 570 is seen from the system) but even in this case I don't solve. Can I activate the power preference from startup sequence? I read somewhere it is bugged.
I unplugged the second PCI card and removed the power supply to the second HD (MorphOS 'one) and to the DVD rom, in order to see if it was a power supply issue, but also in this case nothing changes. In my opinion it should be something that can be fixed, but I need to investigate.
Any suggestions or ideas you can give me is appreciated.

I fear I have a unusual RX560, that causes the no sound problem and 100% of CPU usage both with Sound Blaster Audigy PCI and CMI8738 PCI-e 1X cards.
With Radeon HD4670 all comes back to work normally, included the sil 2 sata intalled in the other PCI slot.
I'll search for another RX Polaris card

Ok, I installed the SoundBlaster Audigy, it works great with RadeonHD 4670, it doesn't work with RX 560. Same if I change the PCI slot and if I disconnect the sil from the other PCI slot.
The problem is the RX 560, which still have the issue of 100% CPU usage.
I'll keep the Audigy and I'll go on with RadeonHD 4670 at the moment (so I can also load MOS on the other HD), sadly I'll have to sell the RX 560 if I don't find a solution.

@Spectre660
It's a pci-e 1x CMI8738: I do not remember if it's an Envy24 or a compatible one.
I have installed it in the slot closer to pci-e 4x while in the second pci slot I have a sil with two sata port (I have the dvd-rom connected to one of these sata port).
The SoundBlaster Audigy arrived today and tomorrow I'll install it in the first pci (the one closer to pci-e 1x), hope it will work with RX560.
By the way, how a SoundBlaster Audigy is seen under OS4.1? What driver have I to choose for it?

@Raziel
I use a Sapphire Pulse RX 560
@Spectre660 Thank you for the hints about the conflict of slots in X5000. The strange thing is that the sound card works correctly with Radeon HD 4670 installed and doesn't work with RX 560 installed in the same slot.

@Raziel Quote: I only have a solution for the monitor file issue. Just call the board name "Radeon" inside the monitor tooltypes. Nothing more. With this you can use the same monitor file for all your gfx cards without changing anything to the OS or reinstalling. The gfx driver is smart enough to skip unsupported resolutions.
Ok done, thank you Quote: 100% issue...try to turn INTERRUPTS off (or on) in the monitors tooltypes and try again. This doesn't work, unfortunately Quote: The audio issue might be caused by the 1000% cpu, so try to sort this one first Also this problem still present, I'm waiting for a SoundBlaster Audigy PCI to replace with my actual sound card

I prefer to push up this thread instead of opening a new one.
A couple of day ago I installed a Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 560 in my X5000 and the card has been immediately recognized (i had modified the kicklayout file adding the RadeonRX.chip after the RadeonRD.chip). My previous card installed was a RadeonHD 4670 (chip RV730)
I have anyway the following issues:
- I have the monitor file of RV730, but I cannot create a new one specific fon Radeon RX 560. How can I generate a monitor screen for Radeon RX 560 without re-installing OS4.1?
- I have always cpu at 100% without making anything, also after a fresh restart of AmigaOS 4.1 FE
- The last the worst, with this gfx installed the audio card installed in PCI-Express 1x doesn't work anymore, no sound coming out from speakers. If I put back the RadeonHD 4670 it works again normally.
Any suggestion, in special mode for the last point?

@Raziel
I have not this problem, it seems to me that my Radeon RX 560 Pulse 2 GB does not have the fun at full speed, it's very quiet. I installed it in my X5000 a couple of days ago.
But I have other problems, maybe it should be better I open another thread for this
