A1222 is available for quite some time and till now nothing happen :(

I wonder if we will ever get a properly working versions of Quake 1, Q2 and Q3 for A1222? Not a game-changer for this computer but would be great to have them working :)

I want to reinstall my X5000 and A1222 computers with clean AOS 4.1 FE update 2, just to avoid mess which was caused by Enhancer Software installation and prepare for FE update 3. So I would like to get some opinion what is worth installation from ES 2.2 package? I think is it worth to install: RadeonRX drivers, Warp3D Nova, OpenGL, VA library.

But is it worth to use components which overwrite AOS4.1 FE original files in C, Prefs, Comodities, Datatypes folders? I understand that some of them might have some improvements/fixes to FE original files, however if at some point FE update 3 is released, that will be even bigger confusion.

X5020 are sold out. X5040 are being sold from the stock and no new productions are planned. A1222 will end at some point also. So there will be no new hardware for OS4...

Wondering if it is worth upgrading from X5020 to X5040, or just purchase X5040 and keep it as a spare :D

I like my X5000/20 a lot, pity you can not purchase it any longer and X5000/40 is only available. Subscribing to this thread, interested how it performs comparing to X5000/20 :). In some threads @kas1e mentioned that /40 can be slower than /20 at particular operations, wondering if this is still the case or was resolved...

I ordered it anyways and should receive it in 10-15 days, lets hope all goes well and at some point most software issues are solved :)

My question is, what is honest oppinion of existing A1222 owners if money is not an object?
