Where can one purchase these as ebooks? I don't see them for sale on Amazon, which is typically where I try to find things (in order to have them consolidated in my Kindle library).

Amazing. Q2 is probably my favorite FPS of all time. Can't wait for this to drop. Thanks for the upcoming release!

I can't contribute to the poll but I purchased it and plan to use it on my X5000. I'd love to play it on my WarpOS/Warp3D enabled A4000 as well, but I don't know how well it would perform if at all possible in the first place, so the X5000 it is for me :)

Thanks! This is helpful. I'll give compiling on my X5000 a shot.

E-UAE build instructions?

Hi friends, I'd like to try building the latest E-UAE sources on github - https://github.com/salass00/e-uaeHowever, I've never compiled anything for OS4.1 before. Can someone help me understand how to compile this? I have a couple of options - I could compile /on/ my X5000, or I could cross-compile from a variety of different hw/sw configurations (i.e., PC Windows, PC linux, MacOS on Apple Silicon). Ideally I can use my MacOS on Apple Silicon for the build performance benefit but I am open to any of these. Thanks!

AOS3 program in AOS4.1FE via Petunia giving DSI

Hi friends, not sure what topic this belongs in so please let me know if this is incorrect.
After a hiatus with my X5000, I've been able to get it back up and running and noticed that one game which previously worked is now throwing guru 80000003 DSI errors. The game is Tales of Gorluth. This is the first game. It runs, I believe, via the Petunia OS3 emulation parts baked into OS4.
I'm 99% certain this used to run.
Nevertheless, can someone help me troubleshoot? I'm not really sure where to begin troubleshooting something that runs in Petunia.
Or does it just make more sense to run it in E-UAE?

Re: What RX card do you use, and what is your experience with it?

I need to update the original post! Today I swapped out the RX 590 which sounded like a jet engine for a Powercolor Red Dragon AMD Radeon RX 550 4GB DDR5 Low Profile Graphics Card. - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NTNSCJMI'm happy to report that this card is working great, it doesn't require extra power, is basically silent and runs seemingly cool, and the fact that it's low profile is super nice. I have plenty of room for a MorphOS GPU without cramping the PCI area too much. I'm happy with this card. Extra bonus? It's only $89USD.

@Raziel
Ah, thanks for that. Interesting. Well, that's a bummer.
I picked up a low-profile RX 550. I'll use that for now until the 590 works as expected, if ever :)
That said, the low-profile card looks so small I should have no problem fitting a pci slot fan between it and the card I'll be using for MorphOS.

Awesome. Seems like I have a few options.
Also, I will need to update AmigaBoot to be able to boot from NGFS, so I'll hold off until I can get my hands on that. Appreciate the help, everyone :)
NB - I was considering trying this with a non-NGFS partition for boot but then decided I'd rather not cause unnecessary wear on my SSD, since I am completely and unnecessarily paranoid.

Hey friends, I am starting this thread after just installing my RX 590. I'm happy to say it works as expected, so that's a positive thing! However, it's loud as hell. Seriously loud. Like a mini helicopter taking off. I'm not sure I can deal with this, honestly. Maybe I can keep this post updated so we have a single source of info. BTW, is it possible to make tables on here? Please respond with: - Vendor (MSI, Gigabyte, etc) - Card (RX 590, 580, etc) - RAM - Does it work? - Any issues? --------------------------------------------------------------- * Gigabyte RX590 - 8GB DDR5 - Works - Fans are super loud

Awesome, thanks! This is exactly what I need. I'll experiment and see if I can boot with a single NGFS partition and follow up here in case other folks are curious.

Hey friends, I'd like to do two things:
1. Setup a new HD with partitions using NGFS 2. Clone my existing, SFS based OS4.1FE partitions onto the NGFS drive 2.a. Stop using the SFS drive and repurpose it for something else
What would be the best way to go about this? Thanks!

Splendid, thanks. Now just to track one down. Bummer as these clearly aren’t being made any more in spite of numerous WTB threads I’ve found :(

X5000 floppy drive?

Hey friends, I have a number of 3.5” floppy disks that I’d like to use with my X5000. I’ve searched around for a while and haven’t found anything regarding this with the X5000 other than an older post where the Greasewezle was being tested in OS4 though I don’t think it ever amounted to anything.
Is there a way to use physical 3.5” floppy disks (Amiga formatted floppies) with my X5000?

Thanks! Yeah, it would be cool to compare benchmarks. I’m currently away from home and will be for the next two weeks but after that I’ll run some. I appreciate your reply.

Hey friends, I’m super happy with my X5000 but my FOMO has me wondering how much I’m missing by not having the most recent Cyrus board. Has anyone done a side by side comparison? I’d love to know what I’m missing here :P

@ChrisH,
Thanks! That fixes the issue. Bummer E-UAE isn't better at handling this, but I think I can make things work well enough with a hardfile.
