There is also Web PC Suite Android APP by Geeksoft.
Very easy to use.

I used it togheter with Kies Air on MorphOS. But Kies Air has a bug preventing using it.

Web PC Suite hangsup when trying to load my Samsung SII android gingerbread version Gallery as it contains thousands of files, so I must go into file explorer and load it from their directory.

@zzd10h

Daisuki is japanese, and makes available videos internationally.

There are videos available or forbidden as long as the producer makes it available or not in certain nations.

(daisuki collects official streaming of japanese famous anime producers)

Check with it. It should work with many IPs.

[EDIT]

Does it work? You are great dude! :D

@zzd10h

PopcornTV.it worked at least until 2 or 3 months ago. The last time I navigate into it with PC Windows Opera or Firefox.

it requires FLASH PLAYER (at least for advertising)

Site is open.

Site is legal.

it works thru advertisings.

Before any movie/music clip/anime video, etc.. were shown OBLIGED 2 advertising videos to be watch.

You can't stop them or jump to the end, else the movie/anime video will be not visible.

it seems it is a new feature of flash players only for X86, so in the future to watch any site with the same technology any Amiga will be unuseful soon.

Daisuki works with the same FLASH technology.issue of popcornTV.

It shows 1 or 2 advertising, then the anime video.

PopcornTV is Italian.

Daisuki is Japanese.

it seems that flash technology is kept alive with this new form of sponsoring video sites.

We need to upgrade our flash players or found technology to bypass it, else will face more and more sites that requires watching advertising.

@zzd10h

Thank you very much. But I am just interested in the sites i posted as they are "anomalous" respect other sites...

The important for me is that our software will support as many sites as possible. That's most important.

BTW on Daisuki.net when I spoof as IPad the site pops up a window saying it wants to load something from iTunes.

Does recent versions of iPad need code stored on itunes for playing videos?

Or perhaps Daisuki site has an account on iTunes and stores the movies there?

@Raffaele1024KB

it should work, yes, but

1) it's available only via AMIStore (=> OS4)

Urgh! it will be no availble until Amistore will implement web based pay system...

PlayVideo.rexx is a rexx made specifically for OS4 SMTube.

Maybe that you thought about my WebReplay (in zTools package) ?

Nice to see it exists.

is it universal for all Amiga platforms?

@kilaueabart

Does your playvideo.rexx works on MorphOS too?

I am interested to see anime videos hosted on these sites:

http://www.popcorntv.it

http://www.daisuki.net

The sites host videos in Flash, and any video has been preeceded by one or two advertising in flash too before the choosen video will be played.

So there is a problem viewing it with OWB, even if spoofed as IPad.

When spoofed as Ipad then it appears playing commands interface, but videos not playing.

Is your mPlayer based Arexx script capable to play these videos (it will be great) or perhaps capable (at least) to recognize the *real* link to which the videos belong?

(in order to download them and transform them with mencoder and watch it in a more suitable codec for our platforms)

@ChrisH

As I discovered with my Epson Expression Home XP-302, it works flawlessly with MorphOS (under USB Poseidon Stack) and Turboprint settings of old EpsonC84.

Here is the thread in which I announced it:

http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/v ... _id=38957&forum=46#732969

Someone with AmigaOS 4.X, native stack and CD version of Turboprint should made tests with modern Epson printers and check if they work.

Music Composer Susumu Hirasawa and Amiga

In a tweet of april 13 Susumu Hirasawa wrote he used Amiga for composing music soundracks upto anime movie Paprika by Satoshi Kon director who is passed by in 2010.

Quote:

私は白虎野、パプリカあたりまで、まだ音楽制作の一部にAMIGAを使っていました。ここまではよろしいか?

I understand only a very few words of japanese, and I use mainly Google Translate, so I don't understand his full statement. Here follows rough google translation.

Quote:
White Tiger field, up to per paprika, I was using the AMIGA part of the music production still. Up to this point whether it is all right?

I really love that movie, and mainly the dreaming-like opening titles scene and opening music track.

Thank you Hirasawa sensei.

Is there any modern software reading, converting and creating CD32 FMV format? As long as nowadays has no need for dedicated hardware...

I think that our friend could use PC software to downgrade modern video files to plain old MPEG1, and then convert MPEG1 to ANIM format, or CDXL.

For CDXL converting tools IMHO you can check here:

http://cd32-allianz.de

Unfortunately I don't remember anymore if old program Video Converter CD32 was capable to load MPEG1 and then output CDXL format.

@328gts

Next time, before asking help for a new Amiga user, it will be interesting to know if he is using AmigaOS 3.x or if he is using amigaOS 4.x in order to let expert users to suggest the better option, to explain if he can use simple trashchan, third party trashcan like Benchtrash, or formatting SFS with the flag recycle bin isssued on.
