I had the same problem with SimpleMail. Solution: Uncheck the mark at "empty trash when quitting". (DeleteDeleted=N)(I Don't know what it says exactly in english, as my OS is in German.)

I hope this bug will be gone in the next version. But at least Simple Mail works in opposite to YAM with my Provider (1&1).

I really would like to see it (or something similar) for my Raspberry Pi. :)

There is a sound. Some kind of boring midi-tune. (Rimmer would love it.) I like the wallpaper. But why is HTML5 needed for a wallpaper and a sound? HTML2 would do it perfectly an would work even with Ibrowse.

I don't care about the logo and the name. IMHO they can call the stack "Harald" and write about the IEEE 802.15.1 compatible WPAN-stack in the manual. As long as it works it's fine for me.

is it possible that you are confusing Bluetooth wiht Blueray?

With no security enabled would not work any longer with practically any German internet provider.

On my "new" Micro Amiga One (750gx/512 MB with AOS 4.1.6) I've installed the new YAM 2.9p before using e-mail for the first time on this machine. When I've configured my main-adress at my domain at Strato.com, it worked fine, but when I've tried to configure a second adress at my 1&1 account, I will always get an error message: "Fehler beim Initialisieren der TLSv1/SSLv3 Session mit Server (...)"
So I've tried Simple Mail 0.4, which works fine with all of my accounts, until I want to shut down the program. Then I will get a GuruMeditation:80000007 Task 0x66aea210 ("SimpleMail") verursachte einen Fehler des Typs program an Adresse 0x01412f50. "Rote Zone" des Stacks wurde nicht beschädigt Stackpointer ist innerhalb der Grenze".
(I didn't translate it to english, because I think the necessary information is there, and the "german" sounds to me like chinese, either...)

But after I've installed Simple Mail, YAM does not connect to any server at all, I will always get the message above.

Does anybody have an idea why SimpleMail crashes, and what I can do against it? Or would it make sence to go back to an older version of Yam? I was using YAM since the late 1990s without problems, but in my Morphos machine I'm using Simple Mail, which has some advantages over YAM like HTML-support and a much easier GUI for configuring the accounts like YAM used to have a couple of years ago...

I don't think that this project is just a fantasy-project. It is possible to make your own box, put a Raspberry Pi or similar already existing board into it, together with a FDD and a controller board.
BUT: What's the point of it? You can't use old, copy-protected disks, because the you don't have a real Amiga FDD, or a suitable controller/software in it. For old games there are already so many ADFs premade available. That leaves just a nice case and a standard ARM-board with eUAE on it. What's the point of that? You can already buy that for 30 Euro. If you want a real emulator in hardware, there is the Minimig, which offers much more features for almost the same amount of money. Or you can buy a real Amiga 500 for about 10 EUR on a flea-market.
So you should rethink your project: Just make a nice casing for a Raspberry Pi and an image for or design something that gives an advantage above existing hardware like a case for the Raspberry Pi with a built-in keyboard an Aeros with RunInUAE as operating system. But forget the FDD.

Actually I am planning a new event: In 2015 we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Amiga. :D

I would like to introduce myself: In German forums I'm known as "DrZarkov". I live in Moers, in the west of Germany not far from the Dutch border. I'm using Amiga for more than 25 years, I wrote a book about the history of the Amiga (in German: "Der Amiga, die Geschichte einer Computerlegende"), and I was the organizer of two Amiga events, in 2010 and 2011 in Essen, Germany.

I just bought a "new" Micro Amiga One with AOS 4.1.6, after long years only with Morphos and of course classic Amigas. I'm very pleased with the progress in AmigaOS 4.1 since my last contact, a SAM440flex with 4.1.2, which a I sold after a few month in favour to a Pegasos II with Morphos.

As I'm practically new to 4.1.6., I'm sure I will have questions in the near future, that's why I've registered here. ;)
