Have had this reply from Matthew at Amigakit.

Hi,

We have been trying, but your card seems to not want to work.
We are still looking into it, as the last card we done, worked fine instantly.

Anyone else had a problem doing the update, if so were you able to resolve it and how did you do it.

Regards

As an update i have posted my card to Mathew at Amigakit this morning for him to do the firmware update.

Quote from Mathew:-

Yes I can confirm that it looks like the firmware updating is solved. If you send the card to us we will update it.

Hi Jurassicc

Thanks for the offer and info, as this is a brand new PCI card. I think I will hang on for now and wait and see what Mathew at Amigakit comes back with and go from there.

Hi Jurassicc

I can have a go at flashing them for you. PM if your interested. I've had success with PCMCIA Cards and the principle is the same. If it can't be done I'll post them back with the current firmware.

You mention you have done PCMCIA cards, my card is the PCI one for my A1XE, have had any experience with flashing a PCI card on these?

Hi Slayer

So now I'm left with too relatively expensive cards that I can't use, I did think of sending them to someone to flash, but who? LOL

After further contact with Mathew, he stated he will look at what he needs to do and will probably be able to offer a re-flashing service.

Anyone know if the PCI card version for the AmigaOne has already got the firmwear on it to use the WPA/WPA2 capability of Prism v2.4. I have raised a support ticket with Amigakit and as yet have not had a reply.

FYI

Had answer from Mathew at Amigakit, stated that it will need flashing with the latest firmware.

Re: AmigaOne XE Front USB
Just popping in
Just popping in

@Robert17

My A1 XE-G4, bought new from Eyetech, the front USB ports worked without having to add any other hardware, you probably just need to change the setting in the start up sequence.

When it says Booting Press Any Key NOT THE RETURN KEY
Use the Down Arrow go to Integrated Peripherals then press the enter key.
USB Port 0/1 ON
USB Port 2/3 ON
Use Front USB Port Yes

Press ESC twice
Should see Save Settings and Exit then Press Enter key

In OS4.1 Update 2

I also see that in Prefs-UBoot-Hardware-USB Ports it has
Enable Port 0 and 1 (Rear)
Enable Port 2 and 3 (Front)
Are both ticked

Regards
