Looking at the ref board and schematic - where's the audio outputs? One PCI for video. No expandability. And a low end CPU unit from "ACube" is already available. And the FLEX is coming. You are offering a better price but less expandability. Its a trade off.

I want at least 1 GHz in CPU power.

ATM, awaiting arrival and review of the SAM's FLEX with OS4. No more horse power than SAM440ep but expandable . . .

My 2 cents . . . or 2 dollars . . . or whatever.

Don't they make a 603 based 1 GHz SOC? ? ?

I agree, they went about this all wrong. But, I'm not sure they intend to actually release any hardware/OS4 solution to the public.

Should work just fine. I had mine set up like that until the PSU died (old age, came with my A500 in 1988) and currently use a 95 watt AT PSU (ugly but small), until I get a replacement A500 PSU or find a way to customize this one. Too many cables, looks ugly etc. Mine, Blizzard with 50MHz CPU, no FPU yet, 64MB, 2.5 HDD & laptop CD. I am considering a silent flash drive for mine as well.

Silence is golden. I don't really hear the HD much, but when a CD is in the drive, well, the silence is gone.

Distrobution for the classic Amiga's will start eventually. and if it runs on Sam, license or not, I'll buy one. They may not be able to advertise it as an Amiga, official support etc. but once its on the shelf, we the purchasers can run it on anything that OS4 supports . . .
