AmiDock Help
Just popping in
Just popping in

Not sure where I have gone wrong. With the dock on workbench I can see in the maindock (main category) that all the objects are shown ie- Amipdf,find,notepad,mutiviewe.t.c but when I highlight Extras and the default category is also highlighted and in the objects which has AmiDVD, DirectoryOpus,Diskmaster2 but is not shown in the main dock on workbench and this is the same for Internet. and Players, but the Extras,Internet, and Players are not shown on the main dock on workbench. But it is in the AmiDock prefernces in docks. The thing I don`t understand that when I turned my Amiga on yesterday everything was there but when I turn the Amiga on today the Extras, internet, Players have just gone and I do not know why.Hope you can understand this?

YAM (2.6) Update
Just popping in
Just popping in

I have started a new one as I`m having problems sending E-Mails. I can receive E-mails but I can not send them and I know that the ping is fine as you can see:-

New Shell process 5
5.OS4.1:> ping smtp.virginmedia.com
PING smtp.virginmedia.com (62.254.26.195): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 62.254.26.195: icmp_seq=0 ttl=121 time=18.429 ms
64 bytes from 62.254.26.195: icmp_seq=1 ttl=121 time=20.428 ms

--- smtp.virginmedia.com ping statistics ---
2 packets transmitted, 2 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 18.429/19.428/20.428 ms
5.OS4.1:> ping pop3.virginmedia.com
PING pop3.virginmedia.com (62.254.26.193): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 62.254.26.193: icmp_seq=0 ttl=121 time=15.362 ms
64 bytes from 62.254.26.193: icmp_seq=1 ttl=121 time=15.606 ms

--- pop3.virginmedia.com ping statistics ---
2 packets transmitted, 2 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 15.362/15.484/15.606 ms

When I send I keep getting this error:- Couldn`t connect to host`smtp.virginmedia.com`.
The mail server is currently down or doesn`t supprt the smtp protocols. I have made sure my setting are right in yam and I believe it is right.
As you can see from my last posts I`m very nearly there is it something I have missed somewhere or there is something wrong somewhere else.

There is one I thing I do not understand is if I use my other e-mail which is ntlworld.com everthing works fine but as soon as I use my virginmedia.com I can not send e-mails
