I have noticed big difference between 2.2 and 2.1

@Joeled and everybody


Me and Joeled have been discussed about emulation quality of Vice.
I had memories that emulation quality (sound etc) was better on previous versions and today I found that Vice OS4 Version 2.1 works much better.
Sound quality is better at least.
Can anyone else confirm my argument and maybe explain why newer versions have those problems.

Version of Vice is 2.2

I have tried to change the settings but nothing seems to work.
I know that emulation is never same than real thing but earlier I had better
experiences.
The question is, am I only one with this problem

I just made few tests and I must say that with emulation speed there is
also some problems

Antique: My X1000 is Black furious beast

eliyahu: I don't have freeze issues but sound quality is poor, I had same
problems with MicroA1.
I don't remember exactly when my problem begun,
could it be something to do with OS4 upgrades (if I remember right Vice
worked much better with OS4.0 or was it OS4.1 + early updates).
Another reason could be Vice itself, maybe newer versions have some issues, who knows.
Emulation speed is ok

Let me introduce myself, my name is Markku and I'am from Finland, some
might remember me from Amigaworld forum.
I'am long time Amiga (and C64) hobbyist and currently my main Amiga is one
and only X1000.
What I do with my amiga...well.. games, internetradio, all kind of multimedia
and surfing on internet are main things.
I have bought Hollywood, if someday I have free time I would like to learn to
do something useful with it.

My top 4 wishes, what I would like to do with my Amiga are

1. Fully featured internet browsing, this is my main wish!
2. Spotify
3. Better workin Vice, or is it just me who feel that current version does not
run well. (If somebody have tips, please tell me
4. Watching demos, Amiga demoscene please support OS4
