@cope Hi when i have copied Vob's or AVI's off of a Xp burnt DVD, I normally just drag and drop them on the Amiga, which sometimes comes up with an error like you have. It will create a Drawer on the Amiga ,but nothing inside so I go into the Icon Info and make sure that the WRITE box is ticked, then save then try and drag the files over again, this normally works but its not a 100% might be worth ago

Hi jahc OK I get your gist, I think! you run Tunenet with the play-list window open Yes/No? if so I can understand your points. But why would you want to run it with the Play-list open? you've loaded your songs/play-lists just close it down ...unless you like to keep an eye on whats coming up ...... Oh well each to their own, And yes your right the Play-list isn't skinned it just comes up in the reaction style. Something else for Beans( ever expanding) to do list maybe

Report: http://wookiechat.amigarevolution.com/pics2/tunenetsuggestions.png
(in my opinion!)
The red areas need to be hidden or removed while the skinned interface is displayed, as this information is already displayed there.. and it takes up room.. also it looks like two seperate programs almost, with the duplication of information.. is there a Reaction equivalent of MUIA_ShowMe?
The blue areas has too much empty space which could look cooler if it was more compact, I think..
The green area could be improved upon in some way, but I dont know how. Functionally, its a great way to switch between the different modes though. But it takes up space, and might be a little untidy.. there might be a better way to do this, or that might be the best way already... I dont know, this is a grey area for me. :)
Also, the playlist window is unable to resized to a smaller/small/tiny size right now. I think it might be the weight calculations due to the red areas being displayed?
I'd like to hear other users opinions on what I've just typed.. because I dont want you to change up things drastically if other users will hate it..
But after consideration today, I decided to get behind Tunenet instead of making my new program. Simpleplay was alright back in the day when we had nothing else, but I'm ready to move on now. Tunenet is so far ahead in so many areas.. my gf is really impressed with your skins too. :)
Keep up the good work. It's a fine program!
Jahc, well to the first(RED) part, are you having the Playlist window opened whilst you are using the SkinFX interface? If so Why!! after you have got your playlist/mp3s in your playlist just close it down. Blue area? again if your running in SkinFX Mode its not a problem, yes i understand not everybody runs in SkinFX mode ( but they Should ) Green Area same as above, as for resizing the window it seems to be Limited to the width of Tabs for Playlist, Radio and Tune. So for me at least none of those are a problem, I run Tunenet in The Shield Skin from the Tunenet site.

@ChrisH Ok Chris go into Tunenet Preferences, goto look and change the GUI level to Graphical, if you want a skin use the Full Skin option (I use shield)and also tick the SkinFX tick box In the pulldown menus make sure the SkinFXdisplay is checked have fun.

@ChrisH Quote: ChrisH wrote: @bean Here is my non-bug-related (and therefore not urgent) wish list for TuneNet: * Support for ID3v1 (I don't think it has it?). Very easy to implement (I did it myself once). * Ability to delete items from a playlist (without using a text editor). * Ability to sort a playlist (with using the DOS Sort command!). * A "Pause" button in the normal GUI, so that I can resume playback from where it was stopped. * Ability to read the ID3 tags of everything in the playlist (rather than just when you play a file). Of course then it would be nice if this was saved as part of the playlist, ala WinAmp, but not essential. * The "Tune" tab should show the file's actual path, in addition to the ID3 title/etc info. Arguably the URL field should always show the file path (currently it does not!), and any ID3 info should be shown in a separate field(s). Same goes for the Tune Info window.
BTW, I have a small select of MODs that crash TuneNet. Would it help if I send them to you?
Hi Chris, as I said in a previous post in the standard GUI for tunenet there is a pause button its the one after the Arrow play button the two vertical lines looks a bit like this -->[ II ] If you want to Edit the playlist whilst its playing in the GUI , Go down towards the bottom of the playlist, there's an arrow there press that will bring up Find Functions and Edit functions plus down the bottom a reorder Playlist In Edit use the buttons to move up or down your playlist then hit the X to remove that song from the current playlist Hope that helps.

@AlexC Hi Alex, in the standard Tunenet GUI, whilst playing MP3s at least, the Middle button in the GUI ( looks like this [II] ) will pause the track, well it works here anyway, in the Shield Skin the Play arrow also works as the Pause button
