Frank has ported some games for Warp3D Nova to see how it runs. It may not run as smooth as we want, maybe a next version of drivers can bring a bit more fps. We will see...

Our newer games have more graphics and it may be too much for our AmigaOS Computers. We have to try ;)

As developer, we get this emails but we can not response because the AmiStore backend has a bug since its release. We can only read the text but have no email from the customer to answer. I think it is the same with Alinea.

A direct email to the developer should work better ;)

When i was younger, i did the same ;) Now it is a bit harder to find time and motivation...

The theme accent ist built without using images. So you simply can adjust the colors in the palette prefs.

In the next image, you see what colors are to change. On the right side, you need a dark to light gradient, the lightest color needs a copy to index 3 (4th color).

I will look into the MUI Settings. But so e things are not to solve i think.

I tried to change the path to sys instead of workbench, but it seems MUI needs Workbench, did not work. I will check it again.

Mui adjustments to match Evo Theme. Within the archive you can see the needed structure. After all files are there, in MUI Prefs on top at "Settings" should be an EVO Entry.

NOTE: I have to make some minor adjustments (a arrow within a workbench window is not in the right position). Also in Notepad, the cursor is very light. But maybe i can not adjust this because in an "old" theme, the coders seems to make the color combinations only with a dark ugly gray... when i light it up (like in evo), then the cursor does not match. Would be nice to have a cursor pen (in string gadget there seems to be a routine which colors the cursor to black if background and curser color are to similar).

It is also not final, if i have time i will upload it to os4depot. This version only should be a test for me and os4welt users, but it seems some people want to try it...

Really strange. I have no idea what is wrong. I can not ssee the image very clear but i thunk sime graphics are missing (arrows on scrollbars).

Add a drawer Themes to your preset drawer....
i did it because i want wo make more themes and keep it clean. Maybe in future i remove the themes drawer...

The theme looks different than it is designed. I think the path is wrong. It seems all graphics for gadgets in windows are missing. I am not shure why your icon is missing but we should try to get the theme work before.

From which page you have downloaded it? Currently it is only at os4welt.de available but i will upload it soon to os4depot.

Good Idea to collect bugs!

I found an issue with the notification system. Would be nice to check it on your systems (i just installed the update over my existing system).

If i remember right, the settings for the new notification should be placed in the GUI Prefs. But no setting found here. Would be nice to make it less ugly blue ;)

Note: Notification Prefs is available in Prefs but it is the old Ringhio one and does not work. So for future it also would be nice to remove it and the wbstartup entry for it too.


Beside this, the uptate works well on my X1000, thanks all involved for the release!

1. For dragging the window, we tried to make it as much as possible with the guid-lines of AmigaOS. So we decided to use the usual title bar for dragging. I will talk with Frank, the coder, if we add the other moving or not. From coding side, i am not shure if it is possible without tricks.

If you press "b" while playing a video, you get a frameless window and then you can do it your way.

2. a basic playlist was planned for a next version. Our time and the whole AmigaOS situation stopped us to focus on an update...

3. It is a AmigaOS thing, i think the people here can help you. You can use DefIcons to set a default player for a video type. Here a screenshot...



We have Version 1.7 finished since over a year. It was planned to publish with the new RadeonHD drivers and video acceleration with graphics card. A-Eon wrote us last August to make the support as fast as possible but no sign since... very sad. FullHD on a Sam460 with a new Radeon RX card works well without much CPU consuming ;) Maybe we release the update soon, i will ask frank.

Currently we have to focus to our own projects and make small games for other platforms. It is important for our life ;) If we have more time, we are back again. But also the whole shitty situation around AmigaOS is not a good thing for movitate us. Also for porting our games there are bugs/missing features reportet for Nova but here also no fixes. So we can not do it. But the main reason for silence is time.

Here some images.

This is a gfx card with a bigger height which does not fit into the PCI-E Slot if a SATA controller is used. Many of the gfx cards needs more space or two slots. A solution could be such a PCI-E Riser card:







This kind of card is a perfect one for a sam460 because it is very slim and there is enough place between both cards (SATA+GFX). And if you want a small case, this is low profile and works well (hard to find!!!):




When my Sam460 was new, i built the system without fans as silent Amiga ;) But in this small case (also tried another small case) it was to hot and AmigaOS/Sam460 freezes. So if you want a silent Computer, be shure that you have a bigger case then mine and maybe put a silent case fan into it.

Note: If you put the gfx card in a sam460, be shure if you don´t cover the PCI Slot. If you want to use DMA für S-ATA, then you won´t be happy with the internal port... it is slow!

Just got an answer from Frank. Yes it is within the ffmpeg package, it is the avformat which has to be adjusted.
