@amigakit

yes the problem is fixed! The bug-ticket can be marked as resolved and closed

I've noticed that the archive contains the necessary files in order to create catalogs. I will work on the german one.

What about the Radeon HD series?

Or will it work only on the RX cards?

Applications/Games built using GL4ES will use OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenGL ES 2.0 will use Warp3D Nova. So it will work with both series, Radeon HD and Radeon RX.

See SYS:Documentation/Warp3DNova/Readme - Chapter REQUIREMENTS for an extensive list of supported graphic cards.

I have already an account there.

I noticed when playing some Videos it will also add some information about the decoding ect. to the debugbuffer. I will paste that information into the bug ticket soon.

@SinanSam460

Ok, so there must be a difference between our RX 560 cards. Because it seems that @mufa also can avoid the problem when changing the power settings.

If theres something i can test/log/whatever in order to clarify this please tell me.

It seems one way or another, most user have some kind of these crashes related to RadeonRX V2.4

Sorry not sure if i understood you correctly. Do you mean that there are users having an X5000 + RX 560 + Driver V2.4 where it still doesn't works even after trying the workaround i wrote some posts earlier?

There are some Memory Timing , Power Limits and GPU Clock differences between IamSONIC's MSI 560X and my Sapphire 560X

Does this matter ?

After having a quick look at the MSI Aero RX 560 techpowerup.com link i noticed that various attributes they are listing for this model are wrong.

techpowerup: 896 Cores actually has: 1024 Cores
techpowerup: 56 TMUs actually has: 64 TMUs

Please look here for valid specs from MSI directly

Hmm, ok, but warp3d has to use it first?

Could be a challenge getting it into scummvm then...

At least for the OpenGL Renderer of ScummVM this could be archived relatively easily:

- Install GL4ES SDK
- Change link libs in makefile (depends on project of course):
- "lGL" to "lgl4es"
- "lGLU" to "lGLU_gl4es.a"
-"lSDL2" to "lSDL2_gl4es.a"

Side notes:

- A game/application linked against GL4ES don't run on the old Radeons 9XXX series anymore. As the "way" to the screen will than be: GL4ES -> OpenGL ES 2.0 -> Warp 3D Nova
- A game/application linked against GL4ES automatically uses the Memory above the 256 MB for suitable data

First impressions after two hours of using an MSI Radeon RX 560

I've found out that after a reboot i experience the same chrashes as others when trying to play a video using Emotion.

However i've found a workaround

Step 1 only one time!
Step 2+3 after every reboot!

1. Open "Power" Prefs - select "High Power" - SAVE
---
2. Open "Power" Prefs - select "Low Power" - USE
3. Open "Power" Prefs - select "High Power" - USE

After applying Step 2+3 i am able to use Emotion without crashes with various Video formats.

Can it be the same reason why my r7-250 (marked as HD Verde) has also no uboot shown?

I was owning a Sam460ex in the past and used a Sapphire Radeon 250E. See exact model here. I still have it if i ever need to plug in a single slot GPU in order to be able to use the PCIe x4 Slot in my X5000. This card supports Compositing, Warp3D, Warp3D Nova and displayed UBoot correctly on Sam460ex.

Shouldn't the keyboard's num lock work even if i have no bootable device attached and have no uboot shown?

Don't know actually. I only remeber that Acube released an UBoot Update which introduced problems with various Keyboards.

Sam460 Uboot 2015 Available

UBoot 2015a keyboard problem

So try all your Keyboards In 2015 i had to borrow a compatible one because the 3 i was owning were not compatible... But the good if you initially configured it and installed OS4 then you will be able to configure (almost?) everything UBoot related within AmigaShell using NVGet- and NVSetVar.

First impressions after two hours of using an MSI Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX 4G OC in X5000 on AmigaOS 4.1 FE U2 + Enhancer Software 2.0

- MiniGL (via MiniGL4GL4ES) depends on game - as a interim solution ok
- Warp 3D - as known doesn't work (no driver)
- Warp 3D Nova - Great performance (better than R7 250E and even R9 280X) !!!
- Power Prefs work
- Video Acceleration works

Will the updated Warp3D Nova and OpenGL ES 2.0 libraries from Enhancer 2.0 improve the overall compatibility of GL4ES? Will there be a new version of GL4ES?

Someone else experiencing immediate OS freezes when showing folder information (select Folder + RAmiga + I) and clicking on "Size" inside InfoWB Window?

I tried removing InfoWB from WBStartup but then the presented folder and file Info windows are lacking various attributes and look quite antiquated (Not like before Enhancer 2.0 Installation).

I also tried copying back various files from the Enhancer 2.0 Backup folder. No luck so far.

What is the Enhancer 2.0 Installation procedure changing regarding file/folder information windows?

The Enhancer Software 2 installation script removes "RAWBInfo" from WBStartup and adds "InfoWB". Since "InfoWB" causes hard freezes when trying to get/calculating the folder size i have to use "RAWBInfo" until this problem has been fixed.

During investigation of this problem i noticed that "InfoWB" doesn't provide any kind of documentation. Also "InfoWB's" icon tooltypes doesn't show some configuration options.

Lastly i checked the wiki page for "InfoWB" but it contains only an overview about the features:

http://wiki.amiga.org/index.php?title=InfoWB

Additionally i noticed that most of the strings within "InfoWB's" windows are english and a few are german. I could provide a german translation.

It would be cool if the "InfoWB" developer(s) could add some space between the attributes on the left and the pie chart on the right. The current layout looks a bit to compressed.

After installing Enhancer 2.0 i've found a firmware file for Tahiti GPUs (Radeon 79x0 and R9 280):

SYS:Firmware/radeon/TAHITI_uvd.bin

I have a XFX R9 280X DD but unfortanaly "Power" Prefs says: "No Dynamic Power Management Resource found for this board."

Someone here where it works with a Tahiti GPU?

Thanks for your reply. I could fix the issues regarding (Desktop) OpenGL 2.0 like that:

#include <GL/gl.h>
#include <GL/glext.h>
