@salass00

This model is a R7-250E which is Cape Verde based so it will work.
It amazes me how little of the useful Amiga threads you guys actually read. Including previous posts in this thread.
Also this thread

@noXLar

The DDR3 HD7750 cards dont seem to work so yes better cancel the order.

This is the model that this company has that should work .http://www.multicom.no/CLUB-3D-Radeon ... -Profile/cat-p/c/p7213058

It is listed as working here

The R7-250X cards are all dual slot.
The HD7750 or R7250E have single slot models .

@samo79
yep.
Also Sinan's R7-265 should be leaving my HD7750 in the dust but results in the same ~26FPS in 1280x1024 .

Retested with the following results .May have been using the 1.9 driver previously

Quake3

640x480 - 28.6 FPS
800x600 - 28.2 FPS
1024x768 - 27.2 FPS
1280x1024 - 25.7 FPS
1600x1200 - 24.7 FPS

@KimmoK

The R7-250x is a rebranded HD7770 so these results could be used :

2.
Owner: zzd10h
HW: X1000 with R7-250X
quake3 timedemo1: ~51fps
cow3d: 90-95FPS

The cow3D seems to be affected by something other than the video card model because each NG model seems to end up with the same result when "b" is pressed.
144 for the Sam460 and 95 for the X1000 .

The interesting result is why is my Sam460ex Quake 3 result a few fps's higher than other Sam460's ?

If anyone can come up with a speedup for decoding H.264 MP4 on Sam460ex's this would be welcomed (with open wallet of course)

That is possible.
These things can be quite subtle.
Would never have noticed if I was not running Psensor.

Back to 43C-45C after closing an empty slot in the case with a bracket .Guess cases are designed to be closed at all points in the back.

Just making sure that my card is not running too hot.
Sam460ex + Low profile Radeon HD7750.
Using a Pcie riser to maximize airflow.
Temperature reading via Linux and psensor program .
Current 41C-45C .
Changed the position of the card to allow one more slot width between the graphics card and the case and changed fan to an Antec Tricool 120mm fan.
Previous Temperature reading was up to 61C .

You need to install MountDiskImage.
MountDiskImage is an extra contribution on AmigaOS 4.1. You need to install it from the OS 4.1 Extras
