@daveyw

Yes, my first computer was also an Atari 8Bit (800XL). The one in the picture is the Atari 65XE, but I upgraded to 128KB, so it's basically the Atari 130XE.

After almost 20 years of existence of Amigaos 4, we did not even see the N64 emulator, and yet it was even for WOS. Damage Nintendo is a very nice platform for games, but Amiga has no luck to emulators of these machines :(

Amigans not used your library for a long, long time. She does not work, for example, from x1000 or x5000. A few years ago, a new PowerPC.Library library was created, better because it works on a new hardware. Making for free through a guy who is not looking for a power of problems.

@AmigaOldskooler

In 2019, I published on YT film with Top 30 Amigaos 4 Games. Unfortunately, in the last three years it has not changed much. Entwickler X has long done anything for Amiga, Hunoppc is now inactive, Kas1e only moved a few little-known titles, Bszili completely left the NG Amiga scene and other successors can not be seen. As a result, it is recently ported for Amigaos 4 even less games than for Amiga 68k.

Re: Arnold Amstrad emulator: How to load roms?

@MamePPCA1

You will find everything in the documentation. Lshift + F10 switch the machine model. If you switch to 464plus or 664 plus you should have one game built-in Burnin 'Rubber, which will turn on. If you use a classic amstrad. You press F1 to select a floppy disk. Then enter the
CAT
command
A list of files on the disk should be displayed
You enter
Run "File name"

and all this
To get a sign "Under emulated Amstrad, you must enter @ from the Amiga keyboard.

Re: Want to define a 320x256 and 320x240 screens for my Spectrum and M.A.M.E. emulators

@MamePPCA1
As I have already written on new Radeon cards, I have never achieved 320x256 resolution. You can at most 640x512 and in emulators such as MAME or E-UAE set the X2 scaling.

In general, according to the official AMD specification, no Radeon does not operate with a resolution lower than 640x480. However, a long time ago, when I had a AmigaOne G4 XE and the Radeon 7500 card and then Radeon 900Pro could get 320x256 and 320x240 using the P96mode preference. Unfortunately, when I bought x1000 and Radeon HD 6870 it was no longer possible, then I tried with R9 270 and RX560 always without success. In general, P96 Mode has been bad working for some time (you can not use a clock slider), so the only way to create modes are tooltypes in the monitor icon. However, by Tooltypes I could never get such low resolutions even sometime when I had a1 xe. So I'm sorry but I can not help you.

@MamePPCA1

I remember that when I used AmigaOne G4 XE with Radeon 7500 graphics and then Radeon 9000Pro I managed to get 320x256 mode when playing with P96mode. Unfortunately, on Radeons HD I could never do it. However, I do not have a problem with my MAME on my x5000 I just turn on the x2 scaling in the emulator and I have a completely screen. ASP is an old emulator for Amiga 68K, which unfortunately does not have scaling options. Nevertheless, it works quite OK on my x5000 with a Polaris card, simply the screen is surrounded by a thick black frame around.

@Skateman

Sysmon in the Benchmark tab does not show the processor type, although as you can see, my Amiga has a CPU by more than 10% faster than X5020 and has more MIPS.

Well, if there was no doubt on what computer did I test here you have a different Sysmon tab, where you can see the type of CPU.

Unfortunately, it is even slower than on X5020. The fact that it RageMem probably display the abnormal results, especially for newer configurations (it was created in AmigaOne XE epoch). The second fact that I have a budget memory not too efficient: CORSAIR ValueSelect CMV8GX3M2A1600C11, 8 GB, 1600 MHz, CL11

@Raziel

I also do not know the details, so I decide anything, I speak only what I see in Release Notes files. Unfortunately, in this programs, Joerg is not written in the INITIAL RELEASE version.

However, if it is actually a proprietary from the beginning developed and implemented, only by Joerg and had a Hypierion agreement that they are his property and without his consent can not be further developed or selling. This, of course, Hyperion should pay him or develop his own replacements.

newlib.library was also released with FE Update 2 and a hot fix for Update 2.

The truth is. These elements that were 100% done by Joerg as SFS or Partition Wizard many years ago were removed from the Amigaos 4 distribution.

Other elements like Newlib or Diskboot.Komod This is a discussion case or 100% are Joerg. As Betatester, I can watch Release Notes files. Maybe the first version of Newlib was from Joerg (unfortunately no written authors). Since the authors of the changes are described, Joerg appears only once at version 53.17 from 28/04/2011, then the changes also introduced SSOLIE (mentioned in Release Notes 9 times) and, for example, FWIKSTORM introduced as many as 54 changes. Just the same Diskboot.kmod, I do not deny that Joerg once worked (but never once signed in Release Notes), while among at least three other nicknames, who introduced a lot of changes and improvements.

@328gts

I have the same problem with the 68k version. You must use the WOS version from Hadeon. Works perfect, no problem with savegame. On my X1000, I successfully completed the base game and two official add-ons.

So when you start the game for fresh, it will always be hard crash. Try to load the save game, then a GR screen will also appear, but with an active option Ignore errors that will allow the game.

This version on my X1000 works much better than the 68k version. It does not cause Grim Reaper errors, it is stable during the game and support save and load game status.
