I downloaded the new version. It crashed while playing the game with 0xCCCCCCCC in both registers on crashed instruction.

@kas1e

You can't with standard prefs. I have wanted to see such feature (native on AOS4) myself. The only chance is one of the workbench clones on os4depot.net which can open "workbenches"/desktops on any public screen. (My workbench clones might be buggy unfortunately.)

I managed to get the Bridge. Paypal's support told me to try different browsers and clear the cache and cookies before trying to pay. (I should have realized to clear them by myself.) I tested Firefox on a Mac this time clearing the cache and all of the cookies first. Payment went smooth without a glitch.

Lucky guys. I haven't had luck. I made a complaint to Paypal. Let's see if they'll answer anything (they reserve 15 days to answer).

PayPal doesn't simply work. It won't finish the payment. Maybe it's because of different currencies, don't know. Tested on Chrome Mac and Firefox Windows.

@amigakit

Thanks for the tip.

Now when trying to pay in Paypal it goes in circles between Continue and Pay now stages and won't go further. I should have enough saldo on the account checking with GBP to EUR exchange rate. There's no button to cancel it either.

PayPal doesn't work on Odyssey unfortunately so no possible to buy anything via AmiStore. Also I tried that email option to buy but the email hasn't arrived ever. The email address is correct in AmiStore's preferences. Make it available via Amisphere site so it would be possible to buy Brigde using main stream OSes and browsers. Is there a version of AmiStore for Mac or Win ?

Our community is so small that I think every programmer have to volunteer in this kind of effort.

What jacadcaps said that you need some 12 core machine with 32 gb memory to even compile WebKit. I don't have even that heavy Windows machines.

I had Synchronize with vertical refresh enabled already. (I didn't notice that setting the last night even it's close to the optimize setting.) Also I forgot the Power prefs.

I tried password resetting with Mantis but it says it can't find my user account.

I had Mplayer hanging in the middle of videos. Then I changed GUI prefs compositing effects optimization setting from Performance to Video memory usage and now Mplayer have finished the same video twice.

Running GLGlobe works fine but trying to run two of them, then I get printouts showing "ring 0 timed out, GPU busy" messages and some other messages repeating forever slowing everything down.

The same happens when running my own video playback code and when it's calling vaPutSurface function. Maybe I'm doing something wrong in the code.

I can't login to Mantis. The login details are not accepted.

Having a strange gadget on corners of a window means the program code is using a wrong variant of Set...Attrs functions or not passing the window pointer. Some gadgets require their own variants to work corretly like Clicktab and Virtual.

Setting buffers to minimum helped. (It looks like 5 is the min allowed value.) Now there's 1,5 MB free ram and I was able to start installation. (Using the second CF card.) (I didn't bother to change the block size, formatting and copying all the files again.)

Thanks a lot everybody !!! :) :) :)

It looks turbo cards are not available for A1200 at the moment. Vampire would be a little bit too expensive for my needs. I might get a RAM expansion card. I couldn't find my old turbo, I might have thrown it away.

PS. I'm getting old, I forgot that buffers thing.

PPS. I was surprised that the installation finished that fast.

:) :) :)

Re: AmigaOS 3.2 for all Classic Amigas released and available

I forgot to say that I have IDE-CF converter so the CF card is connected to the motherboards IDE port. I bought the old CF card from Amigakit with WB 3.1 pre-installed on it. I remember replacing the second partition with 2 new partitions and copied stuff to them on the X1000 back then some while ago. I didn't have any issues with it and I had 1,7 MB free mem after boot.

I forgot the buffer size setting completely. I formatted the other CF card with the default block size 1024. So which way I should do, smaller block size or even bigger ?

Also the old CF card with the 3.1 won't boot anymore. I don't know if it's validating and I don't want to know how long finishing it could take on such an old and slow machine.

I got an impression from the FAQ that one should not mix the 3.1 installation and 3.2 ROM's.

Reading the readme's and faq's didn't help. That long faq I won't bother to check through again.
