I'm having a great time with IB2.4 as well. It's fast, it's stable, it's got some nifty new features & it's released. Wonderful stuff! Has anyone tried eBay out. Those 'Long Java Scripts' fly through in a flash now. Thanks again to all the IB team & testers. Well done to the thread starter, you've managed to start a thread full of people that are very happy with IB2.4. I hope you find the same good results we have too. FuZion.

Just a little point I'd like to add. Mac OS doesn't have THAT many modern games if you look at it's whole catalogue. What it does have though are a lot or <B>original</b> titles. A lot of puzzlers, games that try something different, a different twist on an existing theme or in some cases, a game that's been done before, only with higher quality graphics (i.e. Very polished). One example is a solitaire game, not the card one, the one where you jump pegs to remove them. I have a version that has fantastic graphics & the "pegs" are actually glass balls with a bump mapping effect as you drag them over the board & other pegs to take your move. Here's a link to some shots: Here. Personally I don't mind OS4 not having new modern games to play (Yet), but I would like to see new original titles even if they be smaller games, like mini games. @Adept Hehe, after an A1 are we? Changing a battery's no big deal really. Finding out it was the battery was the hard part but it's something I'll remember in future. FuZion.

Correct guys.
I changed the "Initial Boot Delay" from "Immediate" to "1 second" & we're back to normal now.

@Chip & Raziel
That's the one, saveenv.
For some reason, it's still automatically going into the UBoot preferences meaning I have to exit those before it boots, but I'l have a look at that tomorrow.
Thanks for the help everyone, FuZion.

Ok, one cut finger (Bloody thing bit me!) & a few settings updated & I'm nearly there. Bus 0: is timing out (I imagine this is the onboard), even thought I've changed the settings to use the Sil card & after all my devices are scanned (2 hard drives & 2 cd drives), the UBoot preferences menu is coming up automatically. I habe to escape out of that to continue the boot process. Any final suggestions? FuZion.

Battery taken out of my spare door stop (PeeCee) & installed. And almost all is good.
I have a UBoot but it's not booting. Would my sil card settings have been lost? I have a message saying (Amongst other things):
"FLB: no SLB found in any of the designated boot sources; returning to uboot."
Thanks for the battery hints, FuZion.

@Raziel
It used to be intermittent, now it's pretty permanent, all day today at least.
@LiveForIt
I've ruled the hard drives out (2 of them) by disconnecting them completely.
@Outcast
The PSU I have it relatively nw (About 1 year & half ish old). I hope it's not that.
@tfrieden
The clock has been losing it's time a little, would that be the same battery? (Flat button things aren't they?).
Thanks for the replies guys. FuZion.

AmigaOne won't boot (Or do anything before that) [Solved]

Hi peeps,
I have a tiny problem... ^ That. It seems to be the same intermittent problem that's troubled me for a while. My A1 only seemed to want to boot after it had been on for a few moment. When pressing the power button to turn on, the usual hard drive clicks as things come alive were limited to a couple of clicks hen nothing. I'd turn it off, then on again & it'd boot.
I now seem to be stuck at the first stage. Power on, a few clicks but no UBoot screen or bootup procedure. There's no HD activity either aside from 2 or 3 clicks when I turn the machine on.
I've disconnected my sil card & sound card to try & rule those out so now all that's left connected is mu mouse & keyboard, gfx card & memory but still no UBoot screen (I assume that even without hard drives & CD drives connected, I'd see a UBoot screen at the very least).
Has anyone got any ideas what might be the problem?
Thanks, FuZion.
@Bean... You know what stuff is on that machine don't you. Ewww... Gotta get this sorted out pronto!

I've always liked the idea of a Source Forge like development progress report thing... But one that just houses AmigaOS projects.
Updated either by using an RSS like news feed from the main project website or directly here on Amigans.net, I'm not sure which would be the most appropriate.
I have the vision of having a feature list & a sort of percentage done for each, bug tracks & the wonderful eta which we all know & love.
