I don't know if this thing has already been pointed out but I found a conflict when using x-dock together with Sgrab. Indeed both programs use the combination "Amiga" + "H" to hide/unhide themselves so when I press that combination of keys they both disappear.. Maybe, is it possible to edit the key combination on X-Dock ? (I don't know if Sgrab is still developed and the coder is still around..)

I put this thread in hardware section as it is related to a joypad.. I have a usb nes like joypad and when I connect it to the amiga and go to amigainput to configure it, a requester pop up and show me this message:

It is written in italian but in english it means something like this: "Problems with the pairings of AmigaInput Axis"

I tried the gamepad with the vice and it works but it has problem with vertical axi..

Any idea on how to fix this problem? any workaround?

Today I was playing with my Sam440ep and some old games of mine.. one was Wipeout 2097. It runs smooth and fast but I noticed that it has a problem with some ugly shadow below the ship, it looks like some kind of alpha blending/ransparency problem but I remember that somewhere someone was able to find a fix for that problem.... I did a lot of research on internet and even here on amigans.net but i wasn't able to find the solution.. Anyone knows how to fix the problem? I am using ReWarp software to use all the old ppc software..

I use the 2.1 version as it works better than the last one and it fixes a problem with usb joystick

Edit: I edited the post as I noticed that the version I am still using is the 2.1 for my Sam440ep

hope Olaf can see this post and fix the problem.. in the weekend i will try with my debian setup and the sam440ep to see if I have the same problem and in case it would be nice if it will be fixed..

smbfs worked fine and it is an easy and free way to exchange datas between the systems..

I need your help with pc-task44 and hard drive under amigaos4. i downloaded and installed with success pc-task44 for amiga (68k). There is a free version here on aminet:

Then I used this guide to setup an hard drive to use with pc-task44:

So far i was able to run pc-task44 and install ms-dos on my hard drive, everything was fine.

Now i can see the ms-dos hard drive under amiga os but the hard drive is not accessible, I need a mountlist (my guess) to access it under amiga os, so I can transfer program using dopus from amiga to pc and viceversa..

I tried to create a mountlist but without luck.. can you help me?

I'd like to know how can i re-arrange the width or the height of X-Dock as I have a lot of icons in my X-Dock and if I put the X-Dock vertically I cannot see all the icons.. Is there a way to do this? some option that I haven't seen?? With AmiDock it was easy to do this but I am not able to do the same with X-Dock..

Thanks for the reply and for the usefull informations, I didn't know it altough I used kvm switch back in the old days to share/switch a monitor between amiga and pc..
